A actually built a drone for a Halloween prank in 2007, used props instead of the EDFs seen here. Nice light show. I used a pwm LED strip and it was all controlled with a Sparky flight controller. Remember the good old Sparky ? dirt cheap compared to the insane prices now. I paid $25.00 for a Sparky back then, $65.00 for a RadioLink Pixhawk clone.... $125.00 for a mRo APM 2.6 controller. Not anymore.. man big bucks for a controller now so I repurpose my controllers.
