This choreo is just- honestly one of their best. Technically very strong but it also does so much in terms of storytelling, perfectly complementing the song and MV to the point that I, a person who knows almost nothing about their lore, understood it through the movement alone.
Its been awhile since I've seen a choreo with this much substance. This was refreshing
This is just sooooooooooo thrilling to watch. Their dance practice was like they were possessed -- & the Academy award for best acting, dancing and performance goes to ATEEZ. ENCORE & BRAVO

@@charlenismelogarcia9379 people generally don't seem to keep track of groups' japanese releases except if they're really invested in the group in question. Besides, there wasn't a lot of promotional content (not talking about the promotional teasers but what comes after the release) when paradigm came out so I don't think it made that much noise
Edit: not saying it didn't get good results though, the ep was able to give them a first place on the oricon chart for the 1st time for example

really loved this comeback and somehow their choreos get better which each comeback. And I think San mentioned he wears a beanie when dancing because he doesn't like to have his hair in his face

When I watch Ateez-I really feel like their dances are designed for the stage. It’s like watching a 4 minute mini musical.

I love that Ateez always relay POWER. I know it is even harder to convey that power and energy via camera, not even in person. But you can really really feel it in this choreo. It's hard and sharp at the same time. Just so good. I could listen to dancers like you speak about performances all day.
After Guerrilla they did several Kcons and other shows like Kpop Masters, toured the US for the second time this year, and dropped a Japanese album and performance video. Thanks for the reaction. I always love to hear your take.
and the way they said this song is just for atinys while waiting for the true comeback that is gonna be even greater?? THEY CALLED THIS MASTERPIECE JUST SOMETHING SMALL SO ATINYS ARE NOT BORED WHILE WAITING. How can we love something even more than we love this, this is the best song they ever made and one of my favourite songs overall. And their dance is so amazing it takes my breathe away?
Honestly, this song and dance took my BREATH away!!! I am so astonished by how amazing it is! You're totally right tho - it gives Kingdom vibes and I'm LIVING for it!!! I've been binging the live performances and the OUTFITS also do so much to change the atmosphere - there's a stage where when they lay on the ground, the stylists made the oufits literally split down the middle (one side black, one side white). Each live is unique with different camerawork and you get to enjoy another section of the dance/performance! Absolutely astounding ❤️
I am by no means a professional dancer, in fact im pretty bad but i have been dancing for 10 years recreationally and i love seeing good choreo. I may not be able to do it myself but i can see good dance and understand what makes a dance good and it makes me happy when you can see it outside of professional dance spaces. This one is definitely one of my favorite kpop choreographies ever, very few kpop groups use the flowy lines of reaching slowly for something even though outside kpop its very common. So the unusuality, the execution, storytelling, and the expressiveness of ateez solidified this as the song i recommend to dancers
ateez always has something new, fresh and amazing things to show every comeback and they never disappoint every time

I think they were on tour and dropped Japanese ep. They have been busy. 3 drops from 29Jul to Dec plus touring and KCON, etc.
Their dance practice was for the many music shows they were on! Inkigayo, Mnet, and MBC were some of them

Technically, they had Paradigm in there at the end of November, and you might have missed it since it was a performance video and Japanese-language, but it's fire, and it's another example of killer choreography as part of the storytelling. There's no dance practice for it, but there's a BBTrippin (choreographer's) version out there. Those always highlight how much the individual members change/personalize their parts beyond the choreography. So great to see you, here's to your upcoming 100k!
the reason why I don't even bother learning ATEEZ choreo cause it's so damn difficult and tiring, I'd pass out just learning the first 5 steps 💀

Yeeeeees, i feel like you're the only dancer reactor that truly appriciate and analyze the dance and just not give a blunt reaction, and I appriciate you for that, I always enjoy your contents, in particular the ateez related ones, as I am a huge atiny. I agree with you that 5 months feels like eternity in the kpop industry, but the boys has been busy touring all around the world. I will see them soon live in Europe and, boy, I am excited to see halazia live. Yes, you should see the performance version of halazia, is even more majestic. They performed the song for the first time the 31th of December for a "the end of the year" show and there is a performance practice video uploaded on their official account, you can check it out if you are interested. I've been looking forward to this reaction and only just had the chance to watch it! This choreo has really hit me hard with the variation in intensity and tempo, switching between sharp and surprising moves to smooth, gentle moves, and the way it conveys the feeling of the song and the desperation in the lyrics. Also, since you asked, Jongho's name does start with a "J" but you might hear a sound almost like "ch" because the consonants tend to have more air in them, especially at the beginning of words, than the way we romanize them. And also the "g" in Mingi's name is like in "geek."

With the intensity of this song and choreo, its hard to believe it was only supposed to be a b-side on the The World ep 1 album but they decided to turn it into a filler single album bc they didn't want us to go so long without a cb :')
