BEWARE OF SCAMS! I will never ask you to text me, and then sell you something. Scammers use my profile picture for their RUclips accounts and then ask you to text them (for example on WhatsApp). There are too many of them to delete all of them immediately, so be careful! Also don't fall for the scams from the fake comments talking about making money following some traders. If I ever promote anything, there will be links in this description, if you do not see me mention it in a RUclips video or this description, assume it is a scam.

I’ve been driving a Model Y with FSD since 2020. Version 12.3 that I installed this week is the first version that is usable. All of the mistakes that previous versions made on my common routes are gone. Very cool. It might even be spouse and daughter approved . . .
Can't wait to massively hear: "This thing drives better than me!" !
Navigate on Autopilot alone already is a better driver than me.
@@hoofzy Happy to hear that!
6:30 "I'm not talking about anyone in particular here." Good one, I empathize. 🙂
I'm on FSD 12.3 but I still have to disengage a lot. It's still doing sub optimal stuff all the time and it takes way more concentration to baby sit it than just to drive on my own (driving never stresses me out and I enjoy driving most of the time). I currently get zero value from FSD and don't enjoy using it.
As a shareholder, I 100% support Tesla and really want it to be good enough for level 3 but I feel people are over hyping it here and on X and in the tesla bull circle. I've heard 12.3.1 and 12.3.2 are a lot better so fingers crossed that will be my experience as well.
V12 is the first version where it actually is similar to how humans work. We as humans learn about object movement through experience ( aka association ) There is no way the first AI approach version can just work. To behave like a human, minimally we need 10 years. Need better hardware , better cameras. I do think Tesla will be the owner of the largest and most performant neural net. It just doesn’t make sense for legacy auto makers to train their own 10 years later. Tesla already has a head start training data, with all drivers on the road training data for Tesla for free unless they opted out. The share price short term could take a hit but long term, the company with the most sophisticated LLM wins. People will only trust the best AI to drive them since their safety depends on it
Next thing for FSD should be to get rid of the nagging!
What it need to do that is knowing: I can drive here.
The driver would then have to take over only when the FSD tell you that it can't drive safely here.
Of course, how you then drive there would be very interesting for FSD learning.
But I expect that will actually mean: we shouldn't drive here, choose another way!
When I use FSD my hand is on my knee with steering wheel lightly gripped by my thumb and forefinger. When driving I squeeze the steering wheel just enough pressure so it feels resistance but not continuously but rather as the wheel naturally moves during the driving process. I never get a nag because of doing that. I believe that some do not feel it’s hands free driving unless their hands are not on the wheel consequently you get more nags. It works for me…
Thank god Tesla renamed the product to include the word "Supervised". Using "FSD" to mean multiple different things created chaos. And "FSD (Beta)" meaning "full, but not yet", was also a chaos engine. Now, when they add more types of functionality, they can update the name again to stay accurate. ( eg: personal FSD, driverless FSD, robotaxi FSD, etc).
That middle FSD clips sounds like FSD ASMR😂
What do you suppose Tesla's stock price will be in 10 years?
❤ Please take us on your V12 driving experiences, when you get it? ❤
If you're missing for three days, we won't hold it against ya!! 😎💥🚀
At min 19:20 the Model X75D was only in repair, the loaner was a Model Y on which FSD 12.3 was, as you can see in the video, no horizontal screen and it even states model Y on it
Believe it or not, Matt, it's Good Friday here in Canada, too.
I couldn't go 5 minutes without a FSD 12.3 intervention. The car decided to go straight in a right turn only lane at a set of stoplights.
Very human like!
The guy's 2019 Model X was in for service. The loaner was a 2021+ refresh as the screen was horizontal
A Montreal lane change includes a shoulder check after the lane change to see who you pissed off.
Living in Montreal just got V12
Why don't you have Version 12 yet? Not available in Vancouver, Canada?
You are going to hate me. I have fsd v12 and just got my cybertruck. Hope you get to experience both soon! They are both awesome!!
Awesome. Good for you. If you ever make your way to Nebraska give me a ride please.
But not in the Cybertruck?
We are witnessing an automotive revolution!!!!!
Keep it quiet, very few people know this.
The FSD trial rollout is being done very poorly. Most Tesla owners don't know it's happening (i.e. not in the bubble). When the software is downloaded it just looks like a normal update. You don't know you got the FSD Beta Trail unless you look at the release notes. There is also no instructions on how to use it or where to go to learn how to use it. This was done without proper planning and is going to be a very big missed opportunity.
Thank you
Damn, I forgot the stock market was closed on Good Friday! I hope $TSLA doesn't jump before i can make another buy!
I drove through Montreal twice and all I can say is OMG. BTW, great video.
In Montreal, they put the exit signs right after the exit. I had to circle 4 kilometres twice just to figure it out. Third time was the charm.
You mean a "you should already have exited" sign?
I operated one of the last manual elevators back in the early 1980s. Seems unimaginable now.
Did it have a “three in the tree?”
@@FrunkensteinVonZipperneck it was just up or down.. no awareness about floors, not automatic doors. We used pencil marks on the wall of the elevator shaft to let you know to let off the power in order to hit the floor at the right level. It was a pretty amazing experience.
It is a Game of Thrones game. Tesla is the winter.
And winter is coming!😍
Love your videoes have been watching every video you post for years now! I always wonder how many tesla shares u managed to accumulate. Im currently at 250 all in
Got to wonder if Consumer Reports will continue to rate FSD near the bottom
5:30 lol that guy is a little dramatic with human like precision
❤❤let’s see if the needle moves Monday
I don’t have a Tesla yet. I’m excited when people discuss the leap forward. Fingers crossed noticeable improvements keep coming in weeks and months ahead.
At 4:45 Bob Ross has apparently returned from the grave to take FSD 12 for a test drive.
Under $180 & GPT moment 🤫
Curious why you havent gotten version 12 FSD. Canada, version 3 hardware, others are safer drivers...?
Neurol nets, people place your bet. I hope you go long!$$
I going to be very interested to see if all this good news and optimism begins to reflect in the price of stock. I am so tired of watching Wall Street continue to drive Tesla stock into the ground despite their tremendous success on many different levels, namely advancements and breakthroughs in technologies, safety, charging infrastructure, and unlike any other EV company on the market. Tesla is definitely on my watch-list and I'm looking to see if there is a turnaround. In the meantime, I'm raising capital and ready to invest as soon as I see a point of entry.
How come people don't understand Wamo is just a remote control car?
I finally got a software update off the factory for my Highland today and it was only 2024.2.13 :( Fortunately, Autopark is so FUN and well worth the update that I had to record messing around with it.
Why isn't the NYT going after Apple? Apple gives them massive advertising dollars.
I hope you get fsd V12 soon 😂
The person took in a Model X 75D for service. I very much doubt that they gave him a 75D as a loaner.
You will start seeing people run into a Tesla just to get the court decision. Much like you see people keying Teslas today. What would be great is the surveillance camera’s always on and networked to other Teslas contributing to every case where someone plows into you.
I have not experienced someone trying to run into my Tesla except once and it was just a scratch, she didn't do it on purpose. I have had people try to hit my company truck to collect insurance, but I dodged them.
Im still waiting
Dan Ives...Spot on !!! Where are the Adults at Tesla ??? When are going to Communicate to the shareholders, better ????
It just does not seem beneficial. People don't have views on Tesla. They have attitudes. Whatever is said will be spun. Ives needs to understand this is how Tesla operates. Further Ives highlights the need to resolve Elon remuneration. Without this resolved we cannot proceed effectively The company is hobbled till Shareholders reward their CEO.
It won't be long before you can let FSD drive your children to school, and then return home for your own use,
knowing that it's a safer driver than you are.
To let yourself be driven by the FSD is one thing, but to trust it with your children is the ultimate test!
Not Bettah? I guess I’ll wait till it’s Best…😢
GPT moment incoming
If Elon Musk left Tesla, I would dump my shares at a loss and would never buy another Tesla. Simple as.
I bought a Tesla because of Musk and own shares because of Musk.
The "highly ranked analyst" is the highest ranked "Robo-Analyst".
Just wait when Newfoundland and Labrador need some energy storage help from tesla. And tesla give them some "special" pricing.
foreign policy is not only not Elons problem it is also specifically not within his rights or ability as a US citizen. NYT needs to discuss any issues they have with China with the current president.
“Re-but-ul” is how you say it.
All the naysayers are nuts...all of them.
Just Look at what happened to Jack Ma.
Black is right on FSD responsibility. Until they take responsibility its not the full job. It cannot support robotaxi. But supervised is a good move for short term and accurately represents its current position. Plus the word SUPERVISED is absolutely explicit and cannot be misrepresented thus resolving the marketing issues to all reasonable people. One wonders if this might remain a product with a lower price point with responsibility firmly defined as the driver rather than Tesla. FSD would then be the premium oroduct for individuals. Further there might then be FSD consumer and FSD business / robotaxi to fully milk the revenue of robotaxi. FSD business would, I think be mileage based. Others maybe. In any regard, FSD is out of Beta and revenues can be recognised fully. This indicates the moment that Wall St will also recognise FSD revenue and, crucially, margin.
The driver of the car, a person, has responsibility. If the car is owned by a person and is driving itself, the responsibility goes to the owner. Same with robots. Just like an airplane or train.
ok
I’ve driven in NY and Montreal and Montreal is the worst. By far
I like Dan Ives but who dresses the guy, geeeez.
Tesla is on the cusp of owning a multi trillion dollar market all to themselves. And they may own it forever since their system will remain the safest given their massive head start. This could go down as the most valuable asset ever created and owned by a single company. Hyperbole? Maybe. If not $175 is going to be the greatest bargain of all time.
Cybertrucks need to be spotted driving in every city on a regular basis, Tesla should dedicate 100 of them just to have 2 driving around constantly in every state. I will gladly volunteer to drive one all over the place for free. this should be how the advertising budget is spent, then sell these demo trucks at a discount after about 30,000 miles of just driving in circles all over the place.
400 instead of 420 is 95% of the goal. Is this about making cars or number guessing.
If anyone can justify this I am willing to listen.
The New Youk Times has a very skewed view on Elon Musk.
We in Europe can see that he does a lot for the US, and that the US does very little for him.
We see that the US government, some polititians, and the Main Media constantly goes after him!
Can't you Americans see that Optimus is your chance to wrest some manufacturing capability from China?
Don't you want that?
China can see that!
Sometimes I despair about you Americans!
It is not really FSD.
They should call it SAD (Supervised Autonomous Driving) since the driver still needs to be in the driver's seat, alert, and ready to take over.
Andrew Tate...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why would a company go to the trouble of developing a safer than human autonomous vehicle approved as such by an authority only to then be lumped with accident liability on behalf of the actual owner of the vehicle? The owner of the vehicle should still buy insurance cover for unavoidable accidents such as blow outs, pile ups, weather related etc as well as incorrect use of autonomous systems. Presumably before granting approval the authority will have thoroughly examined the data proving the system is dramatically reducing accidents and associated injuries and damages.
The insurance would have to cover all kinds of liability. No liability at all for the owner, for this to work.
But if FSD were negligent, Tesla would probably still be liable. So, they have to be very confident that won't happen!
I'm a Tesla stock investor but I don't own a Tesla. I can't afford a Tesla until the stock price recovers.
A Tesla now costs about $200 shares. When the $25k care is available now at 143 shares) we can expect it will be down to 75 shares.
Maybe Tesla should set their prices in shares, instead of Dollars!
I'll buy it when it's at 50 shares!
I think the Tesla stock price in one year will be under $ 120
Supervised self driving (SSD) is not full self driving (FSD). Meaningless euphemisms. The tech advances are welcome but FSD is still years away.
Nah. It’s 6months away at the most. I’ve experienced dozens of drives in the last few weeks without intervention. It’s 10x better than just one month ago and it improves massively with every small update. In 5-6 updates (3months) it will be indistinguishable from perfect. But please tell me about your personal experience with FSD. I’m sure you don’t have any lol.
@@boulderghost4457Oooh so true! I do not think people are comprehending the radical shift in technology this is and will become. The changes made (successfully), in such a short period of time should be your first clue.
I am proud to be invested in such a company. Although, 'company' seems like such a weak word in this context.
Fear not, we are on the right side of history! 😎🚀
Maybe you can give the Tesla AI team some pointers. You being a smug genius and all.
Hey Matt, does this supervised FSD mean the deferred revenue for FSD beta is now part of EPS, which will drive TSLA stock price in the Q1 earning announcement?
No, Tesla won't do anything devious to sugarcoat the Q1 report. That's not their style!
I think they aren't working the short-term stock price as much as other companies do.
