You're going to think this is so funny! I didn't submit this because it seemed so weird. I was at Ulta with a girlfriend, telling her that I wish I had an eyebrow pencil that wouldn't disappear as the day went on. We had been looking at the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow. I have one (Cobblestone) that I love because it seems to match me perfectly, especially the color of my unusually colored eyebrows. Since it stays all day, my girlfriend said, "Why don't you try that on your brows?" So I did! Oh my goodness, perfection and STAYS ALL DAY!!!
OMG!! I tried this today and wowza, what a fabulous idea! The Cobblestone was a little too light for me so I used Elf Cool Beans on my brows, a perfect match and soooo easy to apply. Thank you again for posting this and your friend who suggested it. CJ from MN
Back in the day I use to use waterproof brown mascara for gel and a regular brown eyeliner for brows. If it works it works. It's like Robert Welsh says "there's no rules to makeup"

I was so hoping that Elf Wow Brow would be on this list. It’s almost criminal how amazing this stuff is. It instantly and magically transforms my eyebrows into their best selves. I can’t be without it. I can’t believe you’ve never used it Allie, you have to try it! It’s the best!
I like and use several of the product mentioned, but my all-time favorite is the ABH Brow Powder Duo in Ash Brown. A few swipes with a nice, small, flat eyebrow brush (I use the Patrick Ta), soften with the spoolie end, and I’m ready to go. Nothing else needed. The Ash Brown is a really nice color if you have dark brown brows and don’t want any hint of warmth or red. Another good brow product is the Gucci Long Wearing Brow Pencil in Brun (dark brown - not warm at all). It’s a powdery pencil you can sharpen, with a spoolie on one end. Another winner.
Urban Decay Brow Blade. Comes with a pencil on one end and a fine-tipped brush on the other. SOO easy. LOVE a 2-for. Top it with Patrick Ta brow gel. PERFECTION.
all of the girls who like gimme brow should try the kosas air brow bc it’s such an upgrade! i randomly tried it this year and fell in love. it’s my new favorite ((: i do really like gimme brow though.

Great list! my favorite is the la girl shady slim brow pencil in brunette. Ive been using it for years and its so economical also. I always buy 6 at a time.
I’ve tried most of these on this list but my favorite brow pencil is the loreal brow stylist definer. It’s an amazing amazing dupe for the precisely my brow and only cost 10 bucks. Just don’t push it up too much because you don’t want it to break 😊. They also have a huge color range and it doesn’t fade on my oily skin. The dark brunette is like a soft ashier black instead of giving a reddish payoff on the skin like a lot of brow products. I hope this is helpful to someone who doesn’t want to splurge on the top 5 😊

I truly truly hope that you try my trio trick because it. is. incredible. 🙌🏻 I also love the elf brow gel in neutral brown to do the same as the lawless tinted one in that third step! It just allows you to add the amount of color you want, because instead of “setting” your brows with a tinted gel and getting messy/out of hand, you set it with the clear and top it with just a little bit of the tint! Perfection. I love you so much and wish you nothing but the best in the rest of your pregnancy! So excited for your new chapter in life! ❤
I love the #1 product too. After my chemotherapy, my brows didn't come back fully. I have about 20 brow hairs with one eyebrow only having hair on the half closest to my nose. It is really hard to find a brow product that mimics hair and sticks to your skin to last all day. Many high end and lower end waterproof brow products (pencils, pomades, etc.) do not stay on the part that is only skin. The color selections is great. I have medium brown, cool brow hairs. It is very hard to find a product that isn't too dark or isn't too orange.
I am glad to have this series to find new products or to say Yay! my favorite was on the list. For me, I love the Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow. It has the wedge shape pencil and a spooly. I have found it at drug stores in more shades than Ulta. It's texture is solid and smooth, I can use the wedge to shape and fill as well as cover over the occasional white hair that I find. I also love the price. It took a bit of practice to do my brows when I upped my makeup game 5 years ago. When I began, I used the Benefit brow in the small package. It worked, but didn't fill in the thinning ends of my brows. Thanks for this series, and I look forward to watching all if them.
I love the Colourpop brow pencil in dope taupe and the Covergirl Brow Powder in brown. I have red hair and those colors look so natural on me. For the clear brow gel, I love the ABH clear brow gel. It holds my brows so well. Love this series so much. Can’t wait to see all the number ones together.

Great video! For anyone on a tight budget, I highly recommend the shop miss A sculpted brow pencil. The dark brown is a warm Brown and the ebony is a dark cool Brown almost black but it works for me as a brunette with fair skin. If you like a finer tip the slim brow pencil is amazing too. Better than the elf in my opinion.

As an ex-sephora employee (worked there almost 4 years), the ‘precisely, my brow’ pencil is by far my favourite!! I also like the Charlotte Tilbury one, which is very similar to the Benefit and abh ones 🥰 I have naturally thick brows, but there are sparse areas from being over plucked in my early teens, so I’m picky with products 🫢 I’m so excited for setting sprays!! I LOVE the benefit Porefessional Super Setter ❤️ it’s such a fine mist, so it doesn’t leave spots , and it actually makes makeup last incredibly well. It helped so much when masks were mandated (🇨🇦) to reduce transfer onto the masks
My current favorite is the brow blade by urband decay. The micro is great, the colors are great(they red is ACTUALLY red!) And the hair pen is phenomenal! Definitely a must try

I am in my early 70's, and so brows are not only thinner but also pale. I think that Thrive Causemetics tinted brow gel is superior to Glossier b/c of the brush, as well as the forumula. It is a very small thin brush that is easier to control - and the color is semi-permanent. Excellent product! P.S. I started using Thrive products because of YOU! Their lip liner is also great - ghislain mauve...ordered many times. Thank you, Allie!
The Kosas CLEAR brow gel is my fave. I don’t do tinted gel as I have like 3 brow hairs. I use the elf ultra precise in cool brown and the kosas clear gel and I always get compliments
The video with all the number 1 products is going to be good. I think it'd also be interesting to see the highest ranked drugstore full face and the highest ranked high end face.
I have a video series idea for you! "If you have never tried..." recommendations (maybe 3-5 products) for particular product types or brands. This came to me from a family member asking me which bullet lipstick I would recommend to her given that she'd never really worn lipstick before. So, I had to think of something good quality and beginner friendly. We also started talking about Black Friday sales and how I'd never tried ColourPop before (she had recommendations) and she'd never tried ELF (I had definite opinions). That would just be an awesome series and I'd love to hear your top picks for if someone had never tried a cream bronzer before or anything from ColourPop, for example.

My hg right now is benefit 24 hr brow setter, em cosmetics brow pencil, nyx thick it slick it gel and nyx lift and snatch brow pen! I also really enjoy the kosas products but they run w little warm. I’ve tried pretty much all the products you mentioned so I rotate between these

I used ABH for a very long time, but now use the elf skinny brow pencil with the nyx clear brow gel (the small one with pink on the label). My brows don’t go anywhere and cheap! I couldnt want anything else.
I am shoooketh that there wasn’t any brow powders on here! 😮 I honestly cannot live without my ABH brow duo. I feel like it’s easier for me to use than brow pencils (but I also suck at brow pencils so I am in the minority haha).

One of my favs is QUO Beauty’s Ultra Precise Brow Pencil. I believe it’s Canadian (I’m in Canada). I believe it’s up there with the ABH Brow Wiz. It’s a little lighter than ABH granite but the combination f,the two on my very almost brows is perfect. 👍🏻

I found the Nyx ash brown pencil applied well but the colour seemed to turn red on me after awhile. I find Maybelline ultra slim express brow pencil in medium brown to be the best, no red tones!

One of the things I kick myself about a LOT is that I didn't have my brows tattoo'd during covid when I didn't have to leave the house for people to actually SEE me (during the messy healing process). I have been 'doing' my brows now for decades. But it literally takes me _10 minutes_ to do my brows each morning. I could save SO MUCH time if I had them done permanently. I was one of the unlucky few who over-plucked in high school, but they never grew back! I have a very narrow strip of brows, and the hairs are wild & crazy. And I have brow length bangs, so don't want them catching on my brows! I cannot get the hang of using pencils to make them look like hairs, and so have stuck to brow gel for years now, but am still not crazy about it. HELP. Will any of these products really work for me?
Ladies, be thankful for your eyebrows. I inherited from my great-grandmother, on my Dad's side, with no eyebrows. She was half Creek/Cherokee. I have had my eyebrows tattooed in my 20s, and the newest Brush on permanent brows now in my 60s.
The elf instant lift is way too thick to draw hairs, and *should* be way too creamy to look natural AND YET it’s so blendable that it fills the brows so easily, and can provide structure on the edges without being noticeable. I always have one in my stash.

The Kosas CLEAR brow gel is my fave. I don’t do tinted gel as I have like 3 brow hairs. I use the elf ultra precise in cool brown and the kosas clear gel and I always get compliments

I have a video series idea for you! "If you have never tried..." recommendations (maybe 3-5 products) for particular product types or brands. This came to me from a family member asking me which bullet lipstick I would recommend to her given that she'd never really worn lipstick before. So, I had to think of something good quality and beginner friendly. We also started talking about Black Friday sales and how I'd never tried ColourPop before (she had recommendations) and she'd never tried ELF (I had definite opinions). That would just be an awesome series and I'd love to hear your top picks for if someone had never tried a cream bronzer before or anything from ColourPop, for example.

My hg right now is benefit 24 hr brow setter, em cosmetics brow pencil, nyx thick it slick it gel and nyx lift and snatch brow pen! I also really enjoy the kosas products but they run w little warm. I’ve tried pretty much all the products you mentioned so I rotate between these

I used ABH for a very long time, but now use the elf skinny brow pencil with the nyx clear brow gel (the small one with pink on the label). My brows don’t go anywhere and cheap! I couldnt want anything else.
Coincidentally I’d just bought the Precisely My Brow pencil to try out cause it was (still is) on sale at Sephora.

I am shoooketh that there wasn’t any brow powders on here! 😮 I honestly cannot live without my ABH brow duo. I feel like it’s easier for me to use than brow pencils (but I also suck at brow pencils so I am in the minority haha).
wet n wild brow pencil. I love it and I tend to reach for it just as much as ABH!
My HG brow products are the ABH, Benefit, ELF and Huda micro brow pencils. I rotate between these 4 products.

One of my favs is QUO Beauty’s Ultra Precise Brow Pencil. I believe it’s Canadian (I’m in Canada). I believe it’s up there with the ABH Brow Wiz. It’s a little lighter than ABH granite but the combination f,the two on my very almost brows is perfect. 👍🏻

I found the Nyx ash brown pencil applied well but the colour seemed to turn red on me after awhile. I find Maybelline ultra slim express brow pencil in medium brown to be the best, no red tones!

One of the things I kick myself about a LOT is that I didn't have my brows tattoo'd during covid when I didn't have to leave the house for people to actually SEE me (during the messy healing process). I have been 'doing' my brows now for decades. But it literally takes me _10 minutes_ to do my brows each morning. I could save SO MUCH time if I had them done permanently. I was one of the unlucky few who over-plucked in high school, but they never grew back! I have a very narrow strip of brows, and the hairs are wild & crazy. And I have brow length bangs, so don't want them catching on my brows! I cannot get the hang of using pencils to make them look like hairs, and so have stuck to brow gel for years now, but am still not crazy about it. HELP. Will any of these products really work for me?
After the series is done, I'd like to know which brand got the most products on the top tens, and declair it as top brand.
Ladies, be thankful for your eyebrows. I inherited from my great-grandmother, on my Dad's side, with no eyebrows. She was half Creek/Cherokee. I have had my eyebrows tattooed in my 20s, and the newest Brush on permanent brows now in my 60s.

Sorry I can't help but notice your left eyebrow is slightly more arched than right. Not sure if it's just me
The elf instant lift is way too thick to draw hairs, and *should* be way too creamy to look natural AND YET it’s so blendable that it fills the brows so easily, and can provide structure on the edges without being noticeable. I always have one in my stash.
Eye shadow primers is missing. I've been looking for a good one lately 🥴
