That time i was too young to understand aftermath of godhra was more scary curfews , tear gas , violence whole Gujarat was burning.

Like you said this should have been a ground breaking movie of Godhra but what we got is so bad I don't have words to describe I'm from Gujarat & i was 8 years old when this happened so i know some details about it but even the film makers didn't even bother to put it out

The thing that actually bothers me is the bloodthirst of people. Do they actually want to know what happened? The movie didn't felt unidirectional..story was scattered... In the end it was sum up quite well with Vikrant's monologue and the ending scenes.. But this film needed a good direction.

Even before 2000's Godhra was constantly in news for communal riots especially incited by the Muslims. Hindus were being beaten and driven away by use of threat and violence. Illegal migration from Pakistan and millions of dollars flowing from Middle-east fueled landgrabbing activities across Gujarat. even today you can notice how Muslims cry about employment and poverty but still they manage to own acres of land and they also suddenly find money to build mosques. Sorry to say but this is what Congress has given to India: a weak religion that is divided by caste, region and political leaning. Till BJP came to power in 2000’s no one could go to police station to even register complaints against any Muslim person.

I felt so let down by the film, though I expect very little from Ekta Kapoor's brain. Such an impactful event in recent history was dimmed down to just the personal angst of a random cameraman. So Prabhas bhi utna hi equally blamable hai as he wanted to do this project and it was kinda 2 parts ka movie hone Wali thi like Bahubali, par Lord Prabhas chahte the ek meh hi sab sum up hojaye which was difficult. We had seen the train when it arrive in Baroda junction and EVERYONE knew that this will burn India.
Even before 2000's Godhra was constantly in news for communal riots especially incited by the Muslims. Hindus were being beaten and driven away by use of threat and violence. Illegal migration from Pakistan and millions of dollars flowing from Middle-east fueled landgrabbing activities across Gujarat.
even today you can notice how Muslims cry about employment and poverty but still they manage to own acres of land and they also suddenly find money to build mosques. Sorry to say but this is what Congress has given to India: a weak religion that is divided by caste, region and political leaning.

I felt so let down by the film, though I expect very little from Ekta Kapoor's brain. Such an impactful event in recent history was dimmed down to just the personal angst of a random cameraman. How and why? Why make the film at all? Saddest part was the utter waste of Massey. Agree sadly but 100 per cent with Shan.
