35th Anniversary - Piper Alpha Act of Remembrance, 6th July 2023

To mark the 35th anniversary of the 1988 Piper Alpha disaster, a service of remembrance was held at 1pm on the 6th July 2023 at Hazlehead Park & Piper Alpha Memorial. The service was conducted by Gordon Craig (Oil Chaplain) & includes:
• Introduction
• Prayer & Act of Remembrance
• Reading of the names of 167 Souls
• One Minute Silence Laying of Wreaths/Flowers
• Commemoration
• Thank You and Close
Calum Mcllroy, an accomplished musician provided music composed especially for the service.
