i worked for a company, that lied about cameras not being activated. Dispatcher slipped up and said “I seen you just woke up so I called you ab your load” I said seen me wake up. I drove that truck straight to the closest terminal and ubered to a airport and flew home. I went local after that. Always keep a suitcase in your truck
He seen you playin with urself too lol
Almost 9 years at Prime, I turned my truck in and left prime yesterday.
I drove for a company that has inward facing cameras. They lied about when they would activate the camera. I also learned that the red light that's supposed to turn on when the camera is activated can be activated without the red light turning on.
I agree with you about them camera 📷 watching you. It invade your privacy. I will not work for a company that put a camera watching me
I think this is Prime first move to save money in a down economy. If you think you're being squeezed, that office is horrible squeezed. It's the insurance company that has it in their mind this is a way to save money. The company wont even see performance improvements for a long time because turnover will be very high at first. So new drivers will drag down safety rating. Watch the scores to see if thats an argument. Youre better off convincing politicians cameras are stupid than prime because all these companies are catering to the insurance companies.
Organize an industry ban on cab cameras. Not a prime ban. But you need to watch prime safety scores to see the results. It's a hard sell in a bad economy. People will take more crap and EVERYONE has control issues and video addiction these days. You might as well be amish.
Don’t feel bad Hirschbach is doing the same thing. I’m about to finance my truck and go local.
Real talk
No. Period. If I was at any company and some "HR Performance" nerd was sitting across from me watching me 24/7, I would leave that company in a heartbeat. I'm a grown adult, not a child that needs to be watched 24/7. Judge and pay me on my performance metrics like on-time deliveries and accident metrics, not how many times I lift my a*s to fart or pick my nose for too long. - WW
Prime the new dooordash of trucking 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m glad I left prime when I did. My whole time there was just full of gaslighting. FM and safety never cared about safety or my home time. It was about the dollars going to prime.
Right now I’m enjoying life and not driving. Just washing cars and motorcycles and the stress in my life is so much less. I wish I had the money from driving but the bs we put up with takes it’s toll on your mind body and soul
Lol I'm with you big dawg, I got my CDL through prime a few years ago... but investing in a day cab doing ya own thing sounds like a plan
Swear
Out this mf 😂😂
I made 950$ last week driving Uber eats, no other apps. In a $3500 Prius that cost me less $25 a day in gas and insurance is less than $100 a month and that was working around 9 hrs a day for 6 days.
Good AF
I believe you... I do UberEats too as well and make $1850-$2k/week working 12 hours a day 7 days a week 💪🏾
@@user-qw8kf4iz9rlol yea ok
@@user-qw8kf4iz9rWhy only Uber eats instead of Uber rides? So you don’t have to deal with people?
plus it will be listening to the window psychiatrist, as you talk for hours about stuff no one should hear. and if it catches you yawning or eyes drooping that thing is on aALWAYS AND I BELEIVE ITS A VIOLATION OF 4TH 5TH CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, it makes no sense to film the driver to throw the driver under the wheels in a law suit
Time to go
The fast way
And I will be finding another mfkin job December 31st “before then”
Congratulations on the safety award, bro
I’m going to miss prime
😂😂😂
Trucker B,
This is what you do.
When the cameras come out, put some tape over the inward facing camera.😅
If all the drivers that don't want em, do this it will send a message.
Don't play with me!
You'll have some Company As_ wipe drivers whom will be loyal. But to Hell with them.
Olu out.
Congrats on the two-year safety award
Trucker B to be honest a woman can stop this camera ishhhh because what if she naked and someone back into her truck now the camera recorded 15 seconds before and 15 seconds after now her body been exposed
My year will be up in January so they can do whatever they like!!!!!
Yoo bruh you speaking facts it's always gonna be a odd ball that doesn't want to stick with everyone else
Them cameras got my boyy fucked up😂
Frfr
The cameras usually only works when ignition is turned on thats how they work on Amazon vechiles .cameras facing inside and out and the camera goes off and send a red signal if it sense distracted driving, like eating while driving u can only reach for something at a stop light,,but its basically for insurance purposes because of accidents and law suits
Anytime you turn the key it’s recording and 30 min after vehicle is turned off. I’m a dsp dispatcher also the camera is always recording not just for events. Events are are saved highlights but I can still see a drivers entire drive.
1984....a book Worth reading ..scary shit...applies DIRECTLY to this conversation.
@@OnePride31330 minutes? Thought it was 10 minutes.
Lmao I’ll be gone next month🤣
Grind Dont Stop lets goo B 💙.
When you going to make that workout video and routine
Now you talking man I gotcha be dog
No inward facing camera nope I wouldn't work there anymore sorry B that's just me
My guess is you might as well stay where you are because, if Prime is going inward facing cameras, so is the next company ijs 🤷🏽♀️💯 it's just a matter of time
Can't stretch does ball 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
The cameras would have been good when I was on my 2nd trainer truck and had 4 roll over alarms triggered in one day, because of a bad u bolt that could not been found by a single driver. Peterbilt found it with one mechanic turning the steering wheel and another filming and watching. the driver steer tire would jump straight back first then turn. Safety would not even listen to trainer who was sitting right next to me, that it was nothing that I did wrong. They tried to add another 10k miles onto me. Until Peterbilt called them and sent then the film of the bad u-bolt and the fact that I had requested a sit down with safety and Rob. I was in the safety class when they called and said that it had been removed and cleared up. Which was really good, since I also had the video on my phone and was going to take a walk to the end of the block later that day and show the officers in that building to find out their opinion
Prime will mess around and be bankrupt
i mean...as good as it sounds. that deff aint gon happen
@@412hwc they will probably sell will the owner fully retires
Once those cameras get in alot of phones calls from safety for simple thing.js 😢
Ya man all upgrade people it is the first thing that they make you sign
No way McDonalds workers making more than truck drivers
true, agree
I have that camera.... so far it's not that bad.... I still don't like it..... I haven't heard nothing from my fm about my negative reactions from driving
😂😂
WTF do you mean "so far it's not that bad?" You act like the camera might send ELECTRIC SHOCKS if they catch something they think you're not suppose to be doing.
It’s “not that bad” until something happens and you’re found guilty no matter what you did. Attorneys make a living convincing jury’s that it’s the trucks fault, you cough, sneeze, reach for anything and you’re guilty. Meanwhile, prime is covered because they installed cameras, they did everything they could do. Drivers facing cameras are 100% liability to the driver.
I don’t think they should be able to look at the video from the cameras unless something happens such as a wreck
From what I’ve learned from the actual website the cams come from, it only triggers in cab when something outside the truck happens. But it’s prime they tend to manipulate their equipment *cough cough* so I’m not sure if I should stay or leave. I’ve been here going on 10 years, in my 5th truck. I feel like longevity is the key for success. I also feel like the resistance could possibly make it worse for prime better for people who stay (more loads??)
i might quit before i do my year tbh😂
That's some BULLSH-T! I would place a sign in front of the camera during my no drive times that says "I'M SLEEPING". Why the hell they want to watch you sleep. This camera business must violate some privacy or ethics laws.
💯
Food service time
6:33 I was juh telling my tnt trainer about that the otha day
Idk anyone that works at Macdonald that makes a 100k a year
I feel some managers/GMs probably do. I think GMs at Taco Bell make six figures
Can’t hear shit
Ima put on show for them lol
😂😂

Lease driver you sure about that

Fuck them cameras. I drive with it for the compim with. Fuck it is what I say!!!
