Clamp one end of the wire in your vice and the the other end in your power drill. When you twist the wire it will straighten out as straight as the round bar
I use soldering rods. Your stakes are too short if you're hunting over stubble which would make them less visible. They should be at least 18 inches long. The end of the stakes should be pounded flat like a screwdriver to prevent them from turning in the wind.
I'm assuming you went back and painted the opposite side? These look great the only thing I would change is the length of the stakes but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing great job legs go goose hunting lol... 😆
Very clever use of the 1/8 rod great video
Thanks.
Keep up the good work this really helps
Thanks.
I used 5 gal. Bucket paint stir sticks glued to the silhouette sharpened at the bottom. Worked good for me
@@davidsicard2651 Either you're buying a lot of paint or you have a good source for stir sticks.

Yes, they're painted on both sides. You're not the first to say the stakes need to be longer. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback.
If you go to a steel supplier you will be able to buy round bar a lot cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot . It will likely come in 10 or 12 ft lengths
I cut clothes hangars lol
