Yes, I cried listening to your cover. Skyrim is so wonderful, it's my safe place where I hide from all my problems.
It's one of these songs, that don't really stay in your head for long, but when you hear them after a while you will experience this sudden flow of strong sentiment and emotions. The melodies which are part of you, deep inside.

Same here. For all it's beauty it is also a little forgettable. That is no crime. Let's keep in mind this is background music, intended to support a video game with ambience. As such it is a great piece, and Algal, as always, does a wonderful job.
Everytime I listen to Algal playing, I am transported to a spot in my mind that darkness cannot enter. Thank you Algal for everything you do.

This is so beautiful, so elegant, so moving. The melody is soothing to the senses and the soul.
It speaks to me through the music. Saying "Do not fret, for times may be grim now but soon the light will shine if we are strong." I was nearly moved to tears by this inspiring piece.

I've never experienced the game or any related content, but I appreciate your depth of talent. If you've lost followers because of this piece, well, they weren't fans of yours in the first place. People often forget that you do all of this yourself. Everything has to be perfectly timed & mixed together to create a perfect masterpiece. But first, you play a crapton of instruments with such incredible skill! Haters gonna hate, but let's see them pick up medieval style instruments & play this stuff. Not gonna happen. Skyrim is hands down my favorite video game EVER of all time (I actually have two Skyrim tattoos- a portrait of Alduin and Dragonborn in dragon language) so hearing this was amazing and genuinely made me so happy 🤣😍 You're really talented!

By the way, as a Metal head myself, I think it is great that you cover not only metal/rock songs, but also branch out to cover games and movies as well. After all, If I were to explain to someone what a "Heavy metal" attitude is, I would state it is about standing your ground and being true to what you believe in, regardless of what others try to force upon you.
