Me too. I don’t like this version. Seems like they wanted Dawn out to get more of the lead vocals. Dawn was trying to get a better contract for the group but they turned it into something else.

Envouge is one of a kind! It's not the same without the original four members.
Professional, seasoned, classic, sassy, memorable, and incomparable ladies - including the original members. They all plus Rhona have set and maintained a healthy, positive Black female artist standard.
I wish they would put their differences aside because I would love to see all 4 original members perform together again. When will people realize life is too short.
The 3 are fine but the original group is what I grew up on and are the best. Just a shame but the music is timeless.

Yes but you can't compare her to Michelle Williams from DC after Michelle came the group became even bigger and had more hits she contributes to the commercial success of DC, but Rhona came after the commercial success was over yess she is with them for years now, but it still a different to the foundation EN VOUGE 4.

@@tykelwilliams6053 the performance with all five of them was to honor Sylvia Rhone, and Dawn complained about some backstage activities at that event that she didnt like. I know Dawn doesnt want Rhona there and, honestly, as a dedicated EnVogue fan since day one, I understand why, but in the same breath Dawn is inconsistent. They cant make that promise to her, not knowing whether she's going to walk again, which we all know she likely will. So for now it has to be with Rhona whose been there longer and is more loyal. I love the original 4 and at this point in the game I will take them anyway I can get them 😂 I think they need Rhona to help fill in some holes and gaps because they arent capable of everything they were capable of 20 years ago. Ya know??

@dwaynemartinez the comparison is of two women who came into groups that were popular. Michelle into a group that was younger and Rhona into a legacy group. DC and EnVogue are a generation apart. Michelle didn't put in more work than Rhona she just put in her work on a platform that had more eyes on it 💯

Is it just me or did it seem like Terri was lip singing on "what's it gonna be" song? I mean I know she can sing so if she was it had to be for a good reason. Maybe she lost her voice or something. And she looked like she was lip singing in the beginning of hold on. I wonder what's going on, or what WAS going on.

I love EV and I wish the Dawn and Maxine would come back! Dawn and Maxine (in my opinion) have the more recognizable voices and their sound is more synonymous with EV’s hits. Cindy and Terry don’t give it like they used to and I strongly feel that if Dawn and Max came back, their show would get so much better
They absolutely slayedddddd... that was perfect... i wish Dawn and Max were there of course, but, on the other hand, the 3 ladies did it!!! They were tottaly on point with vocals, visuals, choreography... the whole thing. And the songs were perfect. I was not expecting them to sing SaltN'Pepa verses like that, it was brilliant!!! I am so ready to see them touring!!! With a group of great dancers, great band, amazing set and visuals for days as well as tight choreography, it would be badddd!!! I know it cost a lot of money and they dont have Beyoncé's budget but it would worth the investment. Please ladies think about it, go take a loan or something but make it happen. Dont let your legacy die with time. Make it memorable. I even have a title: "FREE YOUR MIND: THE EN VOGUE EXPERIENCE". Ok, enough... i just wish you the best!!! Love you ❤

Eh...this isn't my envogue. If Xscape can get over thier drama so can they. Xscape sold out shows everywhere they went and did a full out tour. These 3 just do festivals and parades. I get Rhonda has been with them 20 years, but she does have what Dawn and Maxine have...the original 4 is just better. Im sorry. I've been rocking with the original 4 for years. I wouldn't dare pay money to see these 3 here.

First of all, all you ashy hoez talking bout you wish Dawn and Maxine were there but y'all forgetting THEY left the group. Rhona is a great singer and matches them well with a bit younger energy and has been singing with them for decades now. Listen the crowd hoop and holler for them. Secondly, they all fine, and Terri is an entire meal, forget a snack. I was so happy they started with their backs to the audience, because those were some nice very, very nice backs. and third...Their sound tech must really suck or they just had something bad going on with the equipment or something. Because they kept telling him to turn them up in their monitors and I can hear his mix getting weird and unbalanced throughout the performance...it got so bad Rhona just took her ear monitor out to see if she could rely on the house or stage monitor mix. That's sad. He/she should be fired if this is an incompetence thing.
Rhona adds nothing to the group and should be acting and doing solo music not singing background for Terry and Cindy who are doing karaoke of EnVogue songs

Destinys Chilld stripped it down and made the act more streamlined and reminded us of the great Motown acts of the 60's. Now every hood group trys to drop thier group down to 3 members and dress like Destinys Child and move nsync when they know that's Destinys child's thing. Boys 2 men does the same thing now and the white groups, the Jonas brothers all of them bite off Destinys Child. It's not organic and it's pushed and feels so.
