One of the most romantic of songs ever written.
Gerry has a beautiful voice and has written, sung on and played guitar on some great songs. He first came to prominence in a band he formed called Stealers Wheel. They had a big hit in 73 with "Stuck In the Middle With You". Then he went solo and had numerous solo hits such as "Baker Street" and "Night Owl". I particularly like: "Get it Right Next Time." You two are are a joy!

When my wife and I have the chance to spend an evening relaxing Gerry Rafferty is our favourite artist we like to listen to.
This is one of the very best love songs. Gerry Rafferty has always had a way with his lyrics & his sounds. He offers a little bit of musical magic. He was with Stealers Wheel with the famed song: 'Stuck in the Middle with You'. Another good one. Thank you, you two for sharing this.

The late great Gerry Rafferty. My go to artist most days. They say if youre happy, you understand the music but if youre sad, you understand the lyrics. Gerry put many of his life experiences into his song lyrics. An absolete genius. If you want another, try Dont Speak of my Heart by Gerry. Such a smooth beautiful voice. Enjoy..!

Great song! In 1972 Gerry Rafferty was in the Scottish folk rock band Stealers Wheel & they had a couple of big hits with "Stuck In The Middle With You" & "Star". Later on, he went out on his own & then had the big hits "Baker's Street", "Right Down The Line" & "Night Owl". Sadly he passed away in 2011.

Man does this bring back memories. Much simpler times with great music everywhere. God only knows how many couples connected and stay connected with this song.
