In London if you forget your gloves, you simply go home and get them. In Manchester, going back home to pick up something you forget, involves being taken around half the building by other residents in the lift, because the builders didn't build enough lifts for the number residents. This results in every one minute task taking 10 minutes. Sure! Never look back!

But let's hope council doesn't let the good Manchester slip away, there should also be a law that forces druggies into a rehab programme under the mental health act , snatch them all off the streets and fix them , they can't be bothering the normal people and making them feel uncomfortable and shitting and pissing in alleyways

Interesting video. Manchester is worth a visit though it is quite rough in parts. Other cities of note are Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast and Birmingham. All of them are not tourist hotspots and offer something difference from the tourist hoards!

wow. way to sell the city. rattle on about cannabis while walking through the same backstreets they have everywhere. I think it's a city with limitations. Can't compare it to London. London is one of the best cities in the world.

  • @rollerbladinggeek5507

Live in any apartment in London & if there are lifts, they arrive quickly. Live in almost any apartment in Manchester & they'll never install enough lifts for the number of residents in the building. As a result, you could be easily waiting more than five minutes for the lift to arrive while everyone else uses it.

That could just as easily be a description of liverpool aswell, except people in liverpool are a bit more sociable in my experience and the weather is better :) both places though, are much better than london. Northern freedom > southern freedom.

I'll always prefer London as its home town the only good thing London has is the public transport and how easy it is to get everywhere and maybe shopping thats it.. Trust me londoners are arrogant a$$holes and that's coming from a londoner I'm actually thinking of going to America and it seems more open there and the people are alot more friendly

Interesting facts about the drug dealing in London. Speaking of weed, there's some cannabis cafe called New Way right round the corner from Ancoats that is trying to open up apparently, not sure what will happen though they've been put on hold i think.
