- Sui and Aptos are both byproducts from Meta, and they’re taking a new approach to blockchain technology.
Meta’s Blockchain Project, Diem, came to an end in 2022 after years of research and development to build a global payment system. But the teams working on the project were determined to keep building blockchains using the Move Programming Language which was created at Meta.
Both Sui and Aptos are filled with ex-Meta employees and are trying to leverage this new language to build the fastest blockchains out there. But will they succeed? And how do the 2 teams with shared beginnings compare to one another?
