      @@meetwacko doing any type of handstand or something you cant do using your hands can make you fall on your neck and you can break it of course you could get in the hospital

    I don't (or rather can't) dance. But I did just start learning animation. Your clean forms and the sheer number of moves there are in this video is helping me a lot in practicing gesture sequence drawing. Thanks a ton!

      I have always wanted to learn to dance, I started ballet when I was younger, and my parents took me out because 1; it was expensive, 2; my asthma made it hard for me to do more advanced things. But it’s a shame cause I really loved it. But recently I’ve been practicing again, it’s painful but I enjoy it all

    *Tips if you want to get better at acro related things OR if you want to get more flexible*
    Practice as often as you can
    Stretch daily
    Invest in an air track / yoga mat
    Dont give up
    Always give things a go
    When doing things on you hands, keep your shoulders locked out insuring that your arms dont bend and you don't collapse and/or get hurt.
    *Once you can do the moves you should:*
    Point your toes to make it look professional
    Practice weekly but preferably daily
    Keep your legs straight E.g dont bend your knees
    *Most importantly, Have fun!*

      I'm a Male dancer and and not flexible at all but I managed to get my side and front aerials but I can't do back walkover or front walkover
      Btw if you wondering I learnt my front aerial from a front handspring

    i never took dance/gym classes, but i really love these kind of moves like, since always ): wish one day i could do at least one. do you guys think i can do this by myself? (with security and of course pratice) don't know if i'm going to join a dance class soon, so i can only imagine if i can learn this by myself...
    (i'm 16 now! with 1,63cm and 57kg) i'll be so glad if someone could answer me, i really want to know it.

      Don't worry I am just like you, I am trying to be flexible and can't even do the splits yet. But if you set your mind to it you can do anything. I believe you can do it.

      All i have to say is hard work pays off, i started off learning theese basic moves and dance lessons definitely helped me perfect them , I did dance my whole life but did it properly at 13 i was never as good as the other girls but i worked ny hardest and now im top of my class , so no matter what age you start at you can do anything with hard work and perfection, U said this 1 year ago so i hope your doing dance now and best of luck!

      I have taught myself at least 45 of these without a single gymnastics/dance class ! since i was 3 years old i have been determined to be a dancer ! If i can do it anyone can !

    Any recommendations on how to do a split jump? I’ve got my split and a massive oversplit

      Maybe try jumping into a split onto a bed, or a lowish squishy surface. That way it won’t hurt. Then get used to jumping and opening your legs. Then practice, at first jump and open your legs a little then snap them shut before you land. Keep practicing tell you can open them enough to do a split. I hope this helped, good luck and keep trying! :)

      I have a suggestion, just be confident in yourself and just go for it! My coach says being afraid will hold you back so just go for it! (Ps I recommend like a poofy mat)

      Another random tip: try holding Oreos or something in your hand when you attempt the aerial. It helps not want to put your hands down as much

      @@ranjaniravi8496 if u need some advice on the splits, here it is:
      1. Stretch for at least 20 minutes a day
      2. Put one leg in front and the other in the back (do that on both sides)
      3. Try to slide down as far as u can until ur back leg, somewhat touches the ground
      4. Keep doing this until u r fully down

    I remember learning how to do a cartwheel when I was like 6 and I kept doing round offs instead then I finally mastered my 2 handed cartwheel 1handed and then just an Ariel

    Amazing! Thanks for the inspiration. I love how you named each one and did slow motion for the more complicated 👍👍👍 I had some ballet as a child & yoga as adult. Am coming out of a chronic illness now & taking ballroom dance. Acro ballet is a long shot at 40 something but you make it look attainable 🤗

    Maybe it's different in dance, but a wolf jump is with your knees together the whole time. If your knees are apart it's called a hurdle
    (I'm a gymnast)

      Your knees should be together for a clean wolf jump in gymnastics (back leg to behind, front leg 90 degrees) (think a pike but the back leg bent). When the legs are apart it is called a hurdler or herkie in cheerleading! In traditional exercise you perform hurdle jumps.

    the spider cartwheel is actually called a Rolling Tinsica, a spider cartwheel is just a cartwheel with your back arched like a contortion handstand

    I did a chest stand, backwalk over, front walk over, round off, back hand spring, split leap, cartwheel, proet, head spring, elbow stand, one handed cartwheel and like 10 more.

    When i was in high school 4 years ago, I had a acro sport class. The teacher split the class in groups of 4 or 5 and we were meant to create a little choreo on a music of our choice as a final exam. So there were multiples lists of mouvement we could do, ideas to help us create it. And there were the jeté ( 4:22 ) in one of the lists. I wanted to try it (for the context i had no gymnastic or danse experience of any kind but i'm quite flexible like i can do spilts and oversplit etc.). So i started to run and jump and try the jeté. And I just remember a mean girl who did gymnastic at a high level laughing at me and telling i shouldn't do it because i was embarrassing even though other people told me i did the mouvement pretty ok. It totally make me lose confidence of doing acro danse mouvements. But now i see what you do and I think you're beautiful and you radiate with positive energy doing it. I love it so much even if i know i can't do any of it!
