Your videos are: 1. REALLY good at giving a detailed explanation, 2. To the point (not supper long videos considering all the content you explained.) I hope you continue making them because they’ve really helped me 🙃🙃🙃
Thank you for this detailed video! It really helped me clear up my basics regarding quadratic functions. One important thing that needed to be mentioned is if a = positive in vertex form, then the parabola opens upwards (contains a minimum). If a = negative in vertex form, the parabola opens downwards (contains a maximum). Hope this helps anyone who's confused!
I am extremely lucky to have stumbled upon your page the other day. You are totally my lifesaver; I was struggling mentally while studying for the SAT math. Math has never been my strongest, but your videos are helping me tremendously. I cannot thank you enough for your videos. Thank you so much for saving my time and encouraging me during tough times. @Kylima Wilson first of all, it's okay. Don't stress. Because your results don't get sent until two weeks later anyway. Take everything as it comes. Don't start learning knew stratagies right now. It's too close. Instead, review anything you've learned. Do a practice test if you can, and just review it. Review past ones. I got a 1350 on my first. When I did my second I thought I was screwed. These videos have helped me so much with SAT prep I can't thank you enough!! But around 29:00, you simplified 9-15x to 3(3x-5), however, shouldn't it be 3(3-5x)? This would also change the final answer to (3x-5)/(3-5x), right? Thank you and have a wonderful day! :)
Hey, quick question, do you have a video on circles because I am consistently getting close to a perfect math score, but the circles screw me up every time .
I absolutely adore your videos, they have helped me so much with my SAT prep! But at 4:42 is it not supposed to be (-3,0) instead of (0,-3) since x=-3? Thank you and have a wonderful day! :)
28:58 You solved it right but the question was wrong, it turns out to be 3-5x on the rhs because its coming from 9-15x ! Anyways, these videos are extremely helpful . Really appreciate your work man ! 🤑🤑
For completing the square method. Does the half of b, or the 3 have to be positive? I thought the minus sign was stuck to the number. so it would be -3? Or is this a completely different thing that doesn't include being that precise.
first I wanted to thank you for your extremely helpful videos, but I just have a question concerning the first example you used in the rationalize denominator part ( around 23:00). Instead of multiplying both denominator and nominator by the root of 5, can't we just square both of them?
Well no because 3/√5 isn't the same as 9/5, you'd be multiplying be 3 on top and 5 on the bottom, but you have to mutiply by the same number to keep it equal
hey, so in 28:41 is't is supposed to be 3(3-5x) because before you factored it it was 9-15x. so the x should be with the 5 not 3. right????? ps. thank you for saving me

Teacher how in the 29:00 minute 9 -15x became 3(3x-5) if the x is with the 15 shouldn't be 3(3 -5x)?? I didn't understand, please explain me.
Nágela Pereira he factored a 3 out
Yep that’s right
If he factored a 3 out on both then shouldn’t the -15x be a -5x not -5, same for the 9, if it was factored by a 3 then shouldn’t it be just a 3 then.
I saw that too that’s why i’m here😹
I saw that as well, kinda confused as to how it got like that

It def does stick to the number, but you don’t need to worry about it bc everything squared is positive anyway.

at 35:43 Long division. Should it be 4x^3 - 2x^2 instead of a + ? because 2x^2 multiply by -1 should be negative.

I think you caught a mistake! Thank you so sorry about that
In min 28.49, the simplify seems to be wrong. Deno should be 3-5x which wont cancel out
When should we use the quadratic formula over the star method? Because I tried to use the star method for -x^2 - 8x + 2 and it didn't work
Only star if you need to factor and can be factored. Quadratic will always work (the one you posted is not factorable)
how does (9-15x) become 3(3x-5)? the x belongs to the 15?
