at 10:00 you can just press return on the map screen to get back to the shop whenever/if ever you skip or exit the shop. About Forgery not working here's a small explanation of the extra mechanics The Collector adds regarding it: -The collector has 2 extra new "piles". The first is your "Collection" which can be found at the top right next to your essence count. This shows you all your currently collected cards just like your normal deck shows your normal cards you have for the run. -The second is the "Collected Pile" which many of your card refer to such as Forgery. During combat this can be found on the bottom left on top of your normal draw pile and next to your energy counter (looks like 3 cards). At the start of the combat all your "Collected" card are shuffled into this pile and you draw 1 of them each turn naturally until you have none left which is why at the start of your run you only drew from it once or twice. Many cards interact with this pile. -Back to the "Forgery" situation, when you play it it tries to look at your current Collected Pile during combat and show you 2 of those to chose. But because you haven't yet added many cards to your collection at the early parts of the run by the time you played "Forgery" on turn 2-3 and onwards you had no cards left in the pile. You have already drew them naturally with the 1 per turn draw. So "Forgery" only comes online after you have added couple more cards to your "Collection" About doom feeling like poison yes and no in my humble opinion. To keep your doom you need to have both VULN and WEAK on the enemy no matter the amount. Even if you have 1000 vuln stacks on them as soon as you loose the weak you will also lose your doom build up. Unlike poison which just decays by 1 no matter what. You need to find consistent sources for both which luckily you did but it will be harder as you unlock more of the card pool. Another way to look at doom is as just big BONK damage spread over 1-2 turns which you can keep up by other debuff cards instead of the original damage source. Like the base deck card "You Are Mine" is 2 energy 10 dmg + vuln/weak similar to Ironclad "Bash" 2 energy 8 dmg + 2vuln. Hope I don't sound too critical or backseaty. I just really enjoy Downfall and it is really rare to find much RUclips content of it and specifically Collector at this point of the lifecycle of the mod. Keep up the cool content. PS. I haven't watched the rest of your content yet so Sorry if you already know/did it. You can access the TRUE FINAL BOSS of downfall just like the base game heart boss by breaking every key at the fires before defeating the ACT3 boss. Not gonna spoil the ACT4. The extra souls you get from killing the merchant also helps with the break costs but is not mandatory.
