I replaced my weather strips and someone, tore my driver's side pillar at the bottom of the window.
Are those C5 seats in your C4? I just got a nice set of C5 seats to replace my destroyed C4 seats. I just have to fabricate some kind of adapters probably. Do you have a video about that? That would be amazing if you do!!
They are c5 seats. I don't have a good video of it but you need to buy some manual seat sliders for a c4 if you don't already have some and then fabricate off that. I have them out of the car currently. Maybe I can make a video showing what I did

Where did you get the weather strip from?
Just a caution: Do NOT buy cheapo EDPM weather stripping. They will be FAR too hard/firm, and you will have problems closing doors, rolling up windows. There are several sellers who have whole car weather stripping packages < $200. This stuff will be an absolute waste of money. Yes, proper weather stripping is expensive (700-$800 as of 2024), but that's really the only option.
Did you replace the screws on the targa top or just seal it up? Mine are rusted to nothing on the targa sides

after i replaced my westherstrip my windows wont roll up without assistance did you have to adjust your windows?

No but my door panels and window sweeps are so loose that the window moves around a lot. It did take a while of being rolled up and closed for the weatherstripping to "mold" itself around evrything
