The greatest attacking player in rugby history. Rokocoko said it. Brian O'Driscoll said it. Rene Ranger said it. Sivivatu said it. I am not going to argue.

most talented player who waisted his opportunities for 10 years. so sad. he could have been the greatest player of the last decade.

beatonthedonis47 “wasted”.... he wasn’t blessed with a solid education, his agents didn’t help him when he was dropped into a country with more money than he knew what to do with. Easy to judge from the touch line.

The Greatest attacking player ever!! and I grew up idolizing guys like Christian Cullen and Jonah Lomu!! He's just the Apex of the wingers pyramid, bless with blistering speed, strength and a Running IQ second to no one.

even as a lil kid when was about 9 years old in year 4 i was selling chocolates when the rwc was on, i never knew who he was but my perants were watching the game and i came in and my dad was cheering and it was when caucau scored that first try for Scotland , but i seen the replay, and instantly thought he was cool, and as time went on i still didnt know who he was about 5 years later, my brother showed me fastest rugby players in rugby, and i seen his try and memories just came back to me, it was a good moment, caucau had an impact on my life

Christian Cullen was one of the grestest runners i have ever seen and i find that he and Caucau shared a similar running technique and swerve. Both would glide past defenders with ease, step you before you even realised they had stepped you and go from a jog to top speed in a blink of an eye. The big difference though that puts Caucau as the most devasting and gifted ball runner i've ever seen is that he was a bit quicker than Cullen who was lightning all on his own. And Caucau had an extra 10-15kgs on Cullen which to me makes Caucaunibuca the most freakish rugby talent ever.

Your comment Sir basically sums up Caucau as a player. BEST to ever do it. He was just freakish. Rugby IQ and blessed with the speed and vision to understand body mechanics and movement that was just ahead of its time.

  • @davidtaliai996

definitely the most devastating winger to play the game, sometimes 15 men werent enough to stop him but his potential was always greater then his effort.

So let me just get this straight, one of the greatest attacking players in history, played in both SH & NH comps, regards the SH one as being played at a higher level, correct? I suppose he didn't know that in the NH the quality of rugby is actually determined by the number of people in the stand singing songs, that live in high population density countries, with easy access to public transport networks........ Yeah, I'm happy with the NH thinking that's the metric by which the sport is evaluated, as its worked out to be a giant grin maker for the SH.

Good news, at least as he said he as 3 kids. Fingers cross at least 1 of them plays out their career for the ... wallabies (All blacks most likely though).
