    Not a super sport rather a sport bike for the street. Which is more than enough for 99% of motorcycle riders. 👍

    • @squidsleap
      @squidsleap 7 месяцев назад +1

      Won't matter on the street but if track days at pace are in your future a rear shock change would pay for itself in less tire wear.
      If not competing, rather just playing at a track day, having the suspension setup (and air preasure) to optimize tire wear over outright grip saves a lot of money.
      Or, AW here was just doing doughnuts for kicks n giggles 😂

    I am confused by many of the comments on here. It's a sport bike not a supersport. If you want a supersport just go buy a GSXR750 one of the greatest supersports ever made. And you can get a really nice used one for half the price of this new bike. You're welcome.

      @@Dzinbhudist And people don't want them enough/any more. The venerable R1 will not be continued in Europe with new emissions rules, Euro 5+ and Euro6. I think the reason is actually they don't sell enough to warrant the investment in upgrading. Of course fours are expensive to build as well. and competitors are mostly high torque twins or triples.
      Interestingly Suzuki are running out the GSX S750 (four) in New Zealand at a bargain basement price. Selling them steadily. Best HP per $ anywhere in the world. It is a nice bike, I almost bought one. And they are not selling the more expensive 8S. So the 8S just got knocked down by 15% too. Interesting to see how the 8R goes. More attractive bike and essentially an 8S in a costume.

      If it gets 40+ mpg you won't have to refill it that often. Especially since it's not a race bike so it's made to be cruised around on and not much full throttle time.
