I think being honest is key... if you do feel unsafe or insecure about certain things let your partner know. Not in a way that is controlling but honest and you guys can work out a system that allows you both to feel safe. But dont act "cool" and "laid back" just because people tell you its sexy and dont be jealous because crazy will "keep your man in check". Be honest and if you are truly in love, your partner will adore you anyway.

Well then Amber, that's not a mutual committed relationship and you're both thinking like children, actually even children are selfish and jealous and emotionally available when they like somebody. Now imagine, as an adult living together or married and you're being all open with your relationship. IT'S NOT RIGHT. If you're with a man that accepts you giving him the green light to go and hang out at clubs with strippers/women in general than that man does not love you nor care about you or the relationship and vice versa. A man & woman who ARE committed rather spend time with one another, no catches but wholeheartedly. Neither of you are mature enough to keep a relationship, if you think relationship freedom is ok. If you still wanna be out partying hanging out with your friends and it goes for both, then stay SINGLE and just keep messing around until you can commit!

Define: "let your man live." Are we talking about messing around with other women? or smoking weed? or having sex? I mean where are the boundaries. If anything can make him feel alive.. hypothetically speaking, of course.
I don't agree with letting your boyfriend or husband do those types of things. It just doesn't work realistically. Not because of jealousy, but because the relationship dynamic changes towards one where respect goes out the window.
It honestly depends on what kind of a man you have.
