    Your video is a blessing! Thank you so much for your trouble shooting skills. I have had trouble with gas guzzling, no pick up, tranny limp problems....put hundreds of home repair dollars into this truck. I really love that you laid it all out for us ❤

    Hi there, did you know where is the crankshaft position sensor? Same engine. Thx.. for this video.

    • @EliTheOBDTech
      @EliTheOBDTech  2 года назад +2

      It is mounted to the bell housing of the transmission, at the back of the engine. It would be best to access the sensor from the bottom of the truck.

    • @EliTheOBDTech

      By using a scantool or removing the battery negative for atleast 10 mins

    • @EliTheOBDTech
      @EliTheOBDTech  8 месяцев назад

      If the code can't get cleared, then your problem is still active. You may have a wiring issue.

    Excellent information, thanks for the data. I have that American 1999 frontier pickup and I wanted to connect it to the 14-pin "Chinese consult" since it brings that connector in the fuse box and the protocol was not matched. If you happen to know what communication protocol that truck uses, I would appreciate it. I found the scanner you use interesting, if you can give me the name since my English is bad. regards

      What kind of scantool are you using?

    • @EliTheOBDTech

      Scan Gauge II is the scantool I'm using on my truck.

    • @EliTheOBDTech
      @EliTheOBDTech  3 года назад

      I believe the protocol that the truck uses with 14 pin connector is either DDL 1 or DDL 2.

      Yes, it is what I have investigated, but the interface that I acquired was not communicated, I am reviewing the diagram in the connector to know what happened. because for something it brings the famous gray 14-pin ddl connector. It is a mystery that only knows who programmed and gave life to the system of that truck

      @@juanperez-og8tf Yea, its weird. So far all the enhanced scantools that I own, are able to communicate with my truck using the 14 pin adapter. Launch x431 Pros Mini, Autel Maxisys 906BT, Autoboss V30, Injectronic CJ4LA and OTC Encore.
