There's also 까먹다 which can mean to forget or also to waste like 시간을 까먹었어 = 시간을 낭비해 if I remember correctly.
Btw great video, I really liked when the english translation came up on the screen slightly later than the sentence in korean, cause it gave me a few seconds to try and translate it myself :) Thanks to you I learned some useful idioms today!!

2:25 Here in Mexico we use a similar expression but with a completely different meaning. We say ''traga años'' (age eater) to refer to somebody who looks way younger than their actual age and just doesn't seem to grow old 🤷‍♀️

Your videos have been really helpful. You know what's making me feel 애억다? Not being able to find a loose knit sweater in that exact color -- made for men! Loose knit for its visual texture with an earthy bohemian vibe and teal/blue-green/aqua are my favorite color spectrum. Looove that sweater on you btw.

Hahaha thanks! I got it at H&M... wonder why they don’t have this color for men!

It sounds like 용먹다 would almost be like "get a bad name" or "get a bad rap", no?

Would 뀌 먹었어 count? (Are you deaf?)
Thanks for these and hope to see more similar videos.

Yes 귀먹다 works, but in this case "먹다" has a slightly different meaning: for the ears or nose to be blocked. There is a separate entry in the dictionary for this one. :)
