Where would this world be without beautiful music?
"Without music, life would be a mistake." - Friedrich Nietzsche
It seems that the last century from 60th to 80th was a GOLDEN TIME in many countries and all look so friendly and kind...
This song lends itself to a GROUP HARMONY good as a solo great as a group!!! Love the strings at the end
I didn't know that bert kaempfert wrote this, it's beautiful and their voices oh wow,
just golden
With Bert Kaempfert.
Absolutely one of my favs of the Anita Kerr Singers.
Wish future generations would study BERT KAEMPFERT and discover The ANITA KERR SINGERS; They both were, and still are, the Very Best at what they do.
If only the world could return to The World We Knew. Today's world leaves much to be desired.
say goodbye to the world we once knew
Burt Kemphert wrote this tune for Sinatra for an album of the same title and the critics lambasted it they were wrong this song ushered in the late 60s era of blending full orchestras with then modern pop music right at the dawn of the HI-FI era I love Mr Kemphert for that reason thanks!!!
This song fits to Sinatra very well. İt's awesome
A superb vocal rendition of a song that always creates a vivid flood of memories of a wonderful time in my life, ,
if only we could turn the clock back . . . . .
agree with every word... clock back most wanted.

And whát a world it wás, music-wise that is. IMHO nothing of today comes even close to the artists in the 50s, 60s and early 70s.
