@@WMCS Is the drivability okay, or does it work more like an on/off switch? My understanding was the marcel springs are what allows the clutch to smoothly engage. Merely a curiosity question, btw; I'm not doubting anyone's judgement or preferences.

Awesome as always Kevin. The axial movement on the DMF is always the clincher for replacement. Often misunderstood. 👌
Its crazy the amount of work that you manage to do on the go. Would estimate this, all included, between 1000 and 1500 pounds.

They’re quite good the Milwaukee ratchet .. but it doesn’t have a long life span.

Have you ever done a Mk2 Audi TT Quattro. Thinking about tackling it myself but looks wild with the transfer box.
Fairly easy. There’s only one bolt on transfer that’s a bit tricky. Otherwise just push it aside like this one.

The longitudinal gearbox was a the only difference.
Very easy. But on a ramp. About 3hrs.

oh man. those rigid clutch disk is a pain to drive. No smooth engagement.. you gotta slam the clutch in every gear.. Ouch!..
