well that didn't work at all for me on my S23 ultra. Hopefully there's a fix by Samsung soon, sick of using my S pen.

It is not a google problem.... I have just installed the UI 6.1 on my s23 ultra and it has lag issues while opening any app and also when I try to switch apps from one to other app ... More like the smooth interface has changed into teleportation altogether... Plus while being in setting to open one sub tab to another it takes awhile even if it is 0.3 or 0.4 milliseconds but that is the lag of their update now!
It is quite frustrating nowadays when a new update comes it is more of a problem then a solution from any smartphone no matter what company that is!

S21 with zero touch response, though I was able to use a mouse/keyboard plugged into the USB port. I re-installed the latest update with Odin, but still doesn't work. Anyone have any insight into whether this is likely to be fixed by Samsung at all? How widespread is the problem? BTW, the update-Google-app fix is also ineffective.

I own an older phone of samsung. Its not responding to any touches about 10-30% of the time. Its been 3 months for some of these comments. I doubt its getting fixed.
I have a 24 Ultra, and I have touch issues, and everything is updated.

Hi, since I did a update on a UI 6.1, my touch screen don't work anymore, I have trying anything but still not working. I'm only use a s pen, but I get tire of using the s pen, so I just put the phone in my closet and wait for any idea to resolve that issue....

I have an S24Ultra and i have been having this issue off and on for over a week. Today it happened again where two restarts will not permit it to work. I can only use my phone now with the stylist.
It''s really weird, I have multiple devices at home, like the z flip 3, s22 and s21, but my s22 ultra didn't get the update and the phone is still saying to this date that the phone is up to date. Even though it's on one ui 6.0.

The same thing will happen with iOS. I've been with iOS from iPhone 3 to the 12 plus, and trust me, everything a new phone cones out, new updates cones out, which will lag the phone just like Samsung.

What about if your friend is using eevanced and microgGSM? Will resting the cache/data work, do anything? Or shoukd we jsut plain wait for an OTA update to one ui 6.1 on z fold 5?

Clearing cache didn't help me at all after the update and there is a certain difference which I see and don't like about it... Still it is fine but the way it is lagging and quickly jumping from switch apps is annoying tbh!

my Zfold 5 is awesome since obe ui. 6.1 i got it on the second of April. my phone has been smooth and zippy. i think it might use alittle more battery. mind you i have been using it even more. it is such a delight. i can even swipe type left handed on the cover display easier than before. i have it on natural, used to always be on vivid on all my old phones, but the screen seems better. clearer maybe it is just me. but loving the update so far. have not looked at all the ai stuff yet.
still waiting for samsung to add 4K 120fps to s23 ultra :(

There is 120fps for FHD on "pro video mode" but it looks bad 👎.
My phone still responds to touch but it ghost taps aswell and theres a massive delay. Sometimes i cant click at all. Is that still a problem caused by this update?

I have the S23U with 6.1 and no issues, but I have disabled Google app, Google discover page and Google assistant. I use Copilot instead so no issues.
It didn’t work for me as well. My galaxy S2 one ultra was working completely fine until I updated to the android 6.1 I paid full price for that phone. I feel like Samsung is responsible for doing this to our phones for those of us who have came across this issue I’ve tried everything. I erased my whole phone and I’ve tried what you stated in this video and it still, my screen is not working. The only way that I can use my phone is if I use an SP which is ridiculous I’m tired of using the SP is there anybody who knows anything or that can help me because at this point I’m desperate and I’m frustrated.

I have cleared cache then data. Rebooted phone. Screen still only works with pen or voice. Booted into safe mode didn't work. Booted into recovery wiped partition cache and nope. Did a factory reset. And nope. So I'm going to upgrade to the S24 ultra with the 750$ trade in. Send it to sucksung and let them worry about it. This Samsung s23 ultra is only 4 months old till what a shame .
I've had one ui 6. 1 since it was released for s23 and only today out of nowhere it's starting to freeze on lock screen only so far I updated 3 days ago as well to April patch but it didn't do it straight away. So annoying when I'm away from home can't reset anything 😂
Why do I have to hit speaker twice for it to finally connect when on a call?

@Jeff Springer' my S23 ULTRA settings do not give me an option between Data and Cashe Clearing but will clear both only. I Stayed signed into all of my Google services.
Anyway to get the microphone back above the keyboard when texting? Mine disappeared with the update and they added the new stars looking icon in the left corner. Microphone went poof.
I updated to 6.1 some days ago but iam not facing any issues maybe their 120 hz panel phones are getting these issues cause to make smoother they accidentally lowered the animation time .
The hide notch in samsung s21 plus dont work anymore after UI 6

I'm genuinely about to break this POS and claim Insurance how is it that my iPhone 8 it's still better than this brand new 1600 s24 ultra I bought there needs to be a class action lawsuit against these c********** because it's been nothing but issues since I got this phone and if I would have known what it was like before I bought it I would have refused to even pay $200 this is by far out of every phone I've owned in my life the worst one yet somehow it's the most expensive it was supposed to have the fastest ship etcetera yet every other game I play that I'm interested in lags the screen gets laggy God forbid I try to use Discord or any other app while playing a game it's just ridiculous that I have an iPhone 8 I can open up Discord play music and a game at the same time no problem but the brand new 24 Ultra I can run maybe one app at a time without it going absolutely to 💩

Thank-you but I figured out that the One UI 6.1 doesn't work with screens not originally made my Samsung. Immediately as I changed my screen everything was back to normal
