I liked that, and I liked your solution. Very nice for a viewer puzzle! PS glad to have you back with us regularly again, hope you enjoyed your break though.
My daughter got a real lock about half that size for her diary that Santa brought her. Itty-bitty little key that was completely functional. The key was promptly lost, of course.
@@1.4142 I had one of those, it was so easy that 9yo me learned how to open it by just pressing on the shackle while moving it and it unlocked every time. Pretty fun thing to do, though.
Ask Santa where what magical North Pole tree he picked it from - odds are, the other diaries growing on it have the same keys. Not same same, but different. If you catch my drift.
hi dear mr puzzle .. i am still injoying your videos ..and i will go on another 5 years as you hoped before .. much love for u ..😊😊 hitham alkhalaf ..... from syria 🙌🙌
Excellent video as always, but would it be possible to mute the background beat when you're shaking something and holding up to the mic for us to listen to?
I’m guessing that even Mr. Puzzle (or even the creator of this) wouldn’t have a prayer in hell of opening it if it were actually locked onto a hasp or chain!
I was hoping for a slightly more complicated answer with two pins that would lock one side of the shackle when the other side comes unlocked, so you would have to get one out then hold the shackle the right way to block the first pin from coming back in while still allowing the second pin to come out. The threading on the single pin to require more motion and allow more precision was definitely an interesting part to this solution, though.
The gadget is very interesting. The pad lock puzzle has a brilliant mechanism. The solution doesn't work 100%. I think you can only solve the puzzle by luck/randomness. If you are unlucky and/or the screw is never in the middle, you can't solve the puzzle.
I think this does not come out in the video very well. But you can feel that the side that is locked is changing sometimes. This is at least an indication that something is changing inside. You need to search for the right spot.
have an idea on how it’s solved. can’t wait to see the solution. Edit: well my solution was close. I thought he might have to shift a pin from one side to the other, the pin holding the longer end of the shackle in place, but them moving to a channel below the other end of the shackle. but centring the pin is also a good locking mechanism
Wow, thanks for the awesome review of one of my teleidoscopes, and for carrying them in the UK! 🔭😀 Cheers!
Hi, you're welcome! I love to play around with it and my son loves it too! Let me know when you have other amazing stuff available!
Love this kind of puzzle. Just a clever, well-made trick that's still fun even when you know how it works.

Yes! Sometimes you just have to take a break! 👍
@@Mr.Puzzle hello. Bitte helfen sie mir
Should get the Lock Picking Lawyer to pick it ;)
With no key we wouldn’t hear…slight click one etc 😂
Came down here to make this comment haha

Goo chance to practice picking it though.

You know it's good when it makes Mr. Puzzle go "Hää?!"
I like small tricky puzzles, its great to bring with you.
Really cool pad lock.
It is soooo small. That is the actual genius of it.

👍
I wonder what the Lockpicking Lawyer would do if he received this padlock without any further instructions.
Open it. Du'h.
@@RandomMonkeynaught Haha, yeah, fair enough. :-) I still would like to see his reaction and approach.
"a tap of my eurithane hammer" xd
Great. Now I want to see it happen.
Dude's got hydraulic cutter, he'll open it one way or another. Most probably with the tool he and bosnianbill made though.
Kennaroo is a great kaleidoscope artist!
Looks fun! Greetings from Brazil

I think you could possibly still do it the Mr puzzle way, but not the intended way.
Maybe lock picking lawyer could do it
Wow best gadget by far 😆
Huhuu watching from Albania right now :)

Nifty lil lock. :)
He was a viewer so he knew you’d try balancing a lock internally to unlock it. Had to shake it up! 😉
No pun intended….
Smart design, but not stopping Mr Puzzle.
Nice one for LPL.
Wow, that really is a tiny padlock
release the lockpickinglawyer!
Where I can buy this puzzle in Europe?
100 out of 10 hahaha nice mechanics pleasing ^^"

Good first puzzle from the Albanian :)

@Mr.Puzzle. Thank you so much for the explanation.
Mr Puzzle: -Hey Lock Picking Lawyer here!- wait
Lockpicking lawyer needs one of these.
You should do a video that captures all your "eureka" moments.
I love me some meester pahzzle! :)
lol imagine if a dude sent him an actual lock without a solution and Mr. Puzzle just tries in vain to solve it.

I love how he has a rap beat going in the background while trying to solve it
Oh no. You gonna start using that catchphrase every episode now aren't you?

No offense intended (I love your channel, and watch every episode), but I can't help pointing out..."padlock" is one word.
