Appreciate the insights. It’s very inspiring to see athletes who are as tall and heavy as myself as I’m also approaching the 30s.
I currently work on my HSPU and elbows tend to go far back and don’t stay above the wrists.
Also, my left trapezius is nagging occasionally which is sometimes frustrating. But I keep on until I reach my goals.
I’m not the most talented guy but I work very hard to achieve what nobody in my local area accomplished.

I'm glad to see you back, as a matter of fact a couple weeks ago I checked your channel to see if anything new was going on there... you were very inspiring to me and I kinda tried several diferent things aswell and became really good at gymnastics at some point, but then I fell in love with ice skating and ballet and that to me is what mma is to you... unfortunatelly I had to move on because sometimes it's really hard to live your dream... I hope you achieve lots of shit bro, keep on!

@@trdic sure bro, but I'm afraid I can't answer to that without getting too political ahaha... anyway, concerning sports, dance, health and all I think I dream about aging well... back in times I wish I could get competitive in ice dancing, but atm I'm completely away from training and all.. I want to get back eventually and get realistic over my white hairs, it would be enough if I could perform really well on ice skating either solo or duo listening to one of my favorites songs.. that would be nice 🥹

Fun,... my journey's been the reverse focusing on martial arts mostly and some lifting weights/pushups and pullups untill the past 3-4 years where I've slowly started exploring a bit of basic parkour, breakdance, cartwheeling, trying to get a decent handstand, etc, next to the martial arts. And doing it all while busy with parenting a 4 year old, working, and creating martial arts content on RUclips.... so it's a slow journey and i'm at a low level in all of it besides martial arts where i also have some holes to work on, but it's a journey of fun and some progress and minimizing the regress (just turned 39).... anyways, i look forward to seeing you kickbox or have an MMA match. :)

My goal past few years was a few sets of one chin up, before Covid I had a great trainer, I almost Had a neutral grip pull up, I’m 71, you’re probably laughing by now, I have been out three years, I’m back at gym, I’m one of the few that knows the exercises and how to do strength training, I did get an ACE certification years ago. Anyway lots of luck with your plans , love seeing your videos, you are just a genius for anatomy, kinesiology etc, I love strength training and hoping to hear from you soon. N

But I am really interested in this training camp, you told me a few years back you would love to have me come but I just didn't have the means. And I really want to try to get to meet all of you at a training camp within the next few years,I think that would be an amazing achievement to be able to train with the great group of guys we have. How is your martial arts training schedule in terms of solo training/training with a class or group of people? I'm at a point in life where the majority of my training is now solo, and sometimes i get to playfully spar (BJJ hard with 2 of them, striking always pretty restrained, sometimes super restrained) with some teens and kids at work, once in a while i can set up meetings to spar with grown up martial artists in my network.

Do you ever trained with kettlebell? For professional fighters it is a fucking good sport equipment.

did all sorts of jobs back in the day but I hated every second of it because I knew I could be training instead of working.. later I was making some money from yt and for many years basically lived like a bum so I could train 8h a day. Great days! =D Anyways I started coaching calisthenics at one point and made very good money teaching people individually and helping them improve the quality of life mainly through physical training. In the past couple of years I haven't really taken any new students due to still being obsessed with training so I got together with a couple of friend and we are now running a coaching company. =)

I've been watching MMA for years, and I know I'm not qualified to give tips but I'll say one thing.
Please train your mind for it. You must be vicious man brutal and nasty. I won't say anything about being a better technician because I believe you're great at that.
Watch fighters like Jones, Roundtree, Petr Yan, Khamzat... etc. This quality is cultivated from yourself, and not something you can develop in the gym. Not as important for Boxing but in MMA... it's a major factor IMO.
    All the best Dom.

very intelligent thinking my friend! btw I’m training my mind every day! I know my “youtube persona” is a very passionate and cheerful dude (and I am that!) but I’m also a seriously bad motherf*cker capable of great violence (when it’s necessary). I’m looking forward to showing more of that side in the very near future! 🙏

It is both really fun seeing you back Dominik and to see you in this new phase of your life and training - because you enjoy what you're doing, and you're passionate about. As a long time fan, I would rather you do what you love and post videos about that, as opposed to forcing yourself to do keep doing something you've been doing for years, just because people expect that from you.
It's always fun to see someone who is passionate and excited about what they're doing - especially a long-time veteran like you who has been posting since like 2010. Most people in your position get bored and keep posting/doing the same stuff over and over, but you've found something new. I wish you good luck in your training journey, and I'm excited for more martial arts/ calisthenics videos from you!
