    The 2019 Draft Class is still one of the most cursed draft classes of all time
    Zion is mostly a menace in the sheets then he is on the court
    Ja is a lethal shooter on and off the court.
    RJ is just there, literally forgot he was a 3rd overall pick.
    Bol Bol is the only one who I feel sad for, he could’ve been Wembanyama before Wembanyama was Wembanyama. I still believe in him, he’s personally also one of my favorites from this class.

    To those wondering why Bol Bol was waived, it's because bigs who can't play defense are not desirable. If you guys want Bol Bol on your team, you will be surprised to learn that Christian Wood is also available. He is a better player than Bol Bol but the Mavericks didn't resign him to a new contract. Why is that? It's because Christian Wood doesn't play defense. It is all offense for him which is good for the stats sheet but not good for the team.

    Bol Bol dad played college basketball during my time, and I remember doing some work with him in the later part of this life in Africa. I too, I am a big fan of Bol Bol, and I was hoping he would carry the family legacy of dominating the boards like his dad. He can play good defense and you can sometimes see it in him. However, he don't put much effort in defense most of the time, and one can think that he is not a physically gifted player. On offense, he can almost touch the top of the backboard 7:58. if he wants to play in the NBA again, he has to bring that kind of effort on both ends of the floor. There is no excuse for no getting at least 12 boards and 4 blocks a game.

    As someone who has watched Bol Bol since highschool and someone who is an Orlando Magic fan, the only issue with Bol Bol is no one is letting him loose ...every one is tryna to mold him into a role when he is literally just a big ass scoring machine guard in a bigs body. I've watched teams try to make this man on ball defender, a pick and roll guy... make him everything but what he is ...he just wants to score so let him just be good at that...instead they call him a liability because he isnt a traditional or his size says he should be better at rebounding and defense or blah blah blah ... the Magic let him play freely a lil bit and we went on a 9 game win streak which was the longest of our season and Bol as a starter played a huge part in that. I think Bol can still be a dangerous weapon in this league. Some team just has to accept that he get score like crazy for you but dont expect much else.

      He was also the reason we lost a lot of games at the beginning of the season bc position wise, he is not a center. And when they had him playing the 5, he was lost and got bullied a lot in the post. We moved him to the 4 and he decided to iso every possession and throw the ball away. Lastly, We went on a win streak because Markelle came back and was able to run the offense. We didn’t need Bol to be a scoring machine. We needed him to be literally everything else and he refused to do that. Again, he had some fun moments and I’m not downplaying his talent at all but it’s very clear he was not interested in developing the necessary skills to play team ball. It's not just about numbers (and it also is). The defensive problems, along with his desire to play out of position for his skillset, means he's a fringe NBA player. He's got to change his game to model more of a point-center, which also means taking fewer threes. The issue is how thin he is, and how he probably can't take the pounding. He could also do with some improvements in decision making. He show flashes, for sure, but it would take some pretty heavy coaching, and his buying into said coaching, to make him a rotation player on a team.

He can ball out, it's just about every 3rd or 4th game unfortunately. I was hoping he'd develop further in Orlando with more playing time as I was a fan, everyone in Denver loved him in fact. Bol Bol is a nightmare actually for teams to match up against and I'm hoping LA LAKERS pick him up cause he brings a different dimension untapped at this point of his career yet we've seen glimpse of what he brings at 7'2 with 7'5 wingspan with point guard skills and he can hit the 3pt shot as well as block shots ..

  • @Urgelt
    @Urgelt Год назад

    I don't know a lot about Bol Bol, but my impression is that he isn't a center. He's a forward. He has an interesting offensive game, but the 3 point shot isn't there. He's helpless against driving guards and forwards on the perimeter, though he is a blocking threat against opponents' 3s. He can't bang down low. Too fragile, not enough mass or strength.
    So he's an incomplete forward, and he isn't a center. In the NBA, he's a curiosity, not a winning member of a rotation.
    He's popular, though. Fans love him.
    Perhaps if he bulked up and embraced a center role, he could break into a rotation and pull his weight. I dunno.

He came in during garbage time and looked like he felt insulted to get late-game minutes - no passing, absurd shot selection, just messing around. Coach Malone needs to trust his players, and Bol Bol didn’t earn his trust because he’d never play defense or look like he cared during garbage time. He's right but the thing about it is that every team he's on has to show him that they believe in him more. They're prioritizing guys in his position at best that are average players while you have him coming off the bench with inconsistent minutes thinking he's going to figure it out with limited time on the floor. Now he does make some bad decisions but with a generational player like that you have to let him make mistakes because on a team like Orlando is not like they're actually going to be doing anything special as far as being a title contender so might as well let him figure it out. Once a team gives him the proper chance and proper minutes he'll shine like he's supposed to.
