Jonny, your lessons are the bomb! I'm a pro guitarist (46 years on guitar), turned piano player (17 years on piano), and man, I've learned so much from you!
Extraordinaire "mister jerry", quelle belle leçon, super claire, pas simple pour un débutant, mais en persévérant cela va venir, bravo, il nous en faut encore, merci mille fois. Le français
My Dad was a "boogy-woogy" playin' man. I had one other sister that could play the piano pretty good as well, ... but I stick with it much, as my parents gave me piano lessons when I was young. Wish I had stuck with it, ... but I was more into sports, ... although my dad ended up being a tennis coach in the college ranks, as well as a HS coach, ... so he was definitely multi-talented. I myself, I ended up trying playing the trombone, and played basketball and tennis, ... both in HS and college (which gave me a sports scholarship during college, paying for most of my college expenses).
wow the lesson is superb. I'm going to learn this piece and master it. I've been only playing the piano for 32 days now as 51 years old, but I will get there. no offense but do you want your piano to sound like that? or do you record MIDI and use some kind of VST on your recording DAW? or does your piano actually sound like that? I have a really cheap piano NUX NPK-10 and it seriously sounds better than I can hear on your video. my piano actually sounds better than my daughter's Roland FP-30X (please don;t tell her) please don't take this as a negative comment. I'm just saying what is on my mind. and I admire your playing and the way you explained this piece. PS I was always wondering if the guy from the future who can play as well as you, time travelled to JS Bach era, and played rock and roll to the audience. Do you think the people back then would love it and go crazy happy or they would ridicule it and say WTF was that?

Johnny, your left hand pattern here is actually from Mead Lux Lewis - I forget the piece, but when I find it, I'll post it the name. Until then, enjoy the master of boogie boogie, where rock 'n roll came from: ruclips.net/video/FSMO0J9BLm0/видео.html.

Missed the word "didn't", ... as in "but I didn't stick with it much".
Of course, I don't have my own piano, so that is a "little bit" of a "setback" (ha).
you can do it
Appreciate RUclips for steering me in your direction. Struggling with syncopation. Have any tips or advice?

Play slowly have You another suggestion please?
Your video might be helpful for those that already know music. You need to teach something more simplified to those of use that aren’t as experienced.
