surely u can go bro. save 1L. go in off season like Jan Feb. flights n hotels r super cheap in off season. dont go for package deals. book everything on ur own. keep half days for ubud. one day for nusa penida. within Bali, search for cheap restaurants for food. travel by scooter, super cheap. negotiate wherever possible. dont go for swings n all popular stuff. enjoy nature n culture of bali. I did it within 1.5L with my wife but we stayed in villa all days which u can avoid.

It depends what are your preferences. Nusa Lembongan is very quite and has different vibes. But If you want to cover east and west Nusa Penida both then you should stay at least for one night otherwise it will be very hectic.
Please tell one thing. We are planning in December. Should we book accomodation in advance for all number of days which we aregoing to stay there or should we book for just first two days in advance and book the further things when we reach there baes on our plans? What do you recommend?

You may get heavy rain in Bali during this period. Bali is a very good place to visit with family but at some places walking and hiking is required.
