Hey Dr. Sonigir--What's the connection between this and THE MUSIC MAN? Or did this just kind of inspire thoughts of it? Or is this song by Meredith Willson? I think Bing C. was one of the numerous stars they were wooing to be Henry Hill, when they were creating the show for Broadway. I love Bing, but I'm so glad they didn't get any of the guys they were trying for, so we got the magnificent portrayal of Robert Preston. Meantime, Gower and Marge Champion are just too darling!
AvalonMorley So sorry, I mean Mr. Music XD I probably got it mixed up because I saw the stage production "The Music Man" a couple years ago; wonderful show~ Thanks for pointing out my FATAL ERROR XDD
Thanks for the reply. I figured it might be just something like that, but maybe not, and it might involve some interesting, obscure bit of information. I didn't even know this show was called MR. MUSIC.
One of the best songs from Mr Music (1950). Bing and Peggy really swing in this song.
I love Mr. Music! Wonderful movie~
And I love this song XD

AvalonMorley You're welcome XD
Ah, but now you went and changed history, making this conversation kind of incoherent. Even so, somehow, I think the world will survive. :- )
the long-lost urban elegance, class and style of yesteryear
There's a version of this song by Bing and the Andrews Sisters, which is good, but this one is my favorite. Marge and Gower dance superbly
Yeah, but if MY guests started DANCING on top of MY piano, I'd be a little TORQUED! :-D
There always one dancing couple at a party that makes everyone move from their chairs for the sake of a jete.
very charming
i've never seen this one. have to find it.
Que lindos tiempos
I want to live in this video
"Peggy and Bing Sing 'Life is So Peculiar' and Marge and Gower Dance It"
