Your hopper never broke? I've broke 2 so far and my pals broke one. The plastic just shatters when dumping the bait. Going to try reinforce it with some Ali angle
Great little review. I saw one of these advertised ages about and thought £80 must be crap. But for that price it looks a cracking little investment for someone like me that would probably only use it now and again
I remember when the nd2 boats first came out and everyone was saying how good they were while the boat was sat on they’re kitchen table everyone thought they were great till a year later and it’s came to light that they’re customer service ain’t worth a wank and the hand sets are as good as useless, I knew everyone was just product testing them so I never got one and I’m glad I didn’t as things need to stand the test of time to see how good they really are, these came out the the same time as the nd2 and these ain’t posted all over social media as sub standard quite the contrary, so do the maths, yes I’m biased I’d only use my rt4 or nothing but none the less these for all intense and purposes do the job as intended and are the best value for money, tight lines
Update on my lovely boat , first trip out on my syndicate water six takes and four fish 🐠 up to 27lb brilliant got right under far bank willows with ease totally unfishable without boat , big problem can't see the boat very well at distance have covered in flash iradesant sticky back now see it anywhere also line twist a nightmare after 3/4 trips must use the line bomb to untwist it, wouldn't go fishing without the little rascal now few sniffy remarks from other members but couple of others bought one , as essential as bait
Ive had my slingshot which it been nicknamed lol in 40mph wind n rain went out perfect n back in even the lads with £1000 boats rated my boat it does wat you want it to do for £80 it is mega boat
I put some catapult elastic under the hopper to stop the violent chuck and where the bolts are i made it into a slope to the bottom of the hopper also added a deeper to the front.... may add some lead to it so the props are submerged.
Just got one from Amazon as they tend to be better if it goes faulty, where as eBay sellers usually wash their hands of it. They are a bit more now, but only £96. I only need something to dump a dead bait and lead for piking, about 200g, so hopefully the hopper won't crack doing this.
Great review , well done ….ive just ordered one of these for 50 quid , crazy price…but the web page said it had GPS , as in you can set 16 locations and save them , does it have this function anyone ?????
Had three fish up to 24 lb from a difficult local water I now have access to several spots almost uncastable previously but accessable with the bait boat , rig with a good serving of freebies right under an overhang can't go wrong get one !
Good informative review but I would be worried about my rig tangling as it was chucked into the water but would deffo use it to drop a solid bag and at that price I may just invest in one
I got 1 of these, very good for the price, easy to control, only thing I found is it could have slightly more weight on back end of boat...my mate and I both superglued a small weight to aid the reversing.
Nice review, does this type have GPS? I got one similar but I am not sure about GPS. I couldn't use it because my country does not allow using such remote boat for security issue!!
Just bought one £78 Its ok for the price and a bit of a laugh when trying to read the badly translated Chinese to English instructions. There was no internal battery as the booklet stated. no explanation for the front button. That I worked out was drive. Good value for money Only real drawback is there is no adjustment of speed. The controller is open to the wet and may short out. So keep it dry. Do not use it in the wet. Perhaps keep in in a small polly bag
Has anybody tested the range of this? 500m range might be a bit of a stretch but knowing it’s good out to 300m is a bit of reassurance but again for the money you can’t moan is it will only work out to 200m
will do over 300 meters, have the same boat, wouldnt send it that far without full battery though, i change the battery when its down to the last green light, i use mine for putting dead baits out for pike, works great, just carry spare batterys for controller also, and there a little gromet on top, after use, open it and drain any water out, i spray gt85 down the shafts on each motor after use, 2 years of use, on big windy lochs, and still works a treat
I've got one Clive so far so good! Wouldn't pay thousands or even hundreds mate it's a big con as always! Mind you searched around on ebay and got mine for £69 about 4 months back. Nice review mate! 👌👍
Hi Thanks for the little review. One question ... Does the bait boat always work properly or does it sometimes have problems? I mean problems with electronics or receiving commands ... Tks Andrea
The problem with this 'review' is its not an actual test of how you might want to use a bait boat. What is the range? Whats it like in freezing cold or stormy conditions?
Hello mate like I said in the video it’s just an overview as I borrowed the boat off a friend :) A more in-depth review and a revisit at the boat will come in the future :)
@@cliveD_outdoors There sure is 😁😁. I live in the Highlands of Scotland, how do you think it would cope on a big loch with wind and small waves as they are often not very flat
can anyone tell me what the long bolt is for that comes with it, And what is the rubber plug at the end of the Bow? is it a drain plug in case of water getting in?
Had one for over 2 years no problem with it

Awesome mate! Glad it’s paying off for you :) top angling
Mega boat! This is well worth the money , range is very good and very good in the wind
Agreed!
I put pasta underneath up panel holds proppellor under water better making it go even faster and when waters choppy it don't miss the proppellor
Ive had my slingshot which it been nicknamed lol in 40mph wind n rain went out perfect n back in even the lads with £1000 boats rated my boat it does wat you want it to do for £80 it is mega boat
Mega! Can’t beat that bro :)
I put some catapult elastic under the hopper to stop the violent chuck and where the bolts are i made it into a slope to the bottom of the hopper also added a deeper to the front.... may add some lead to it so the props are submerged.
I did glue some old batterys on top of the props and that made the boat run better...
I think I may sink the hopper down into the boat so can fashion some sort off bottom release using the servo some how...unsure yet.

Cracking bit of kit 👍👍
Deffo!! 💯
I don't understand how it works for fishing though. Is there a hook and line in the hopper?
I have this boat very simple to use great boat

That is definitely something to consider in my short experiences in the boat this didn’t seem to be a problem I agree with you hundred percent!
@@cliveD_outdoors it could be a very rare occasion it may happen but it would always be on my mind
I thought that. But will put rig in pva bag/mesh. That will definitely stop any potential issues.
My catch rate has gone up even in the colder months rig tangles is just not an issue if you're that worried use a PVA bag it's a no brainer

Thanks bro :)
What happens with the boat is out of range from the controller? Does it get stuck in the middle of the lake?
Great review thanks and a decent boat for the price
Cheers bro! And 100%
Nice garden pond I fish smaller lakes
Ahahahha cheer bro
Does anyone know if you can buy replacement remotes for this and they work without any hassle
Just bought this... cant wait to try it
Good luck bro !
Would this work on surf fishing by the shore ?
I wonder about problems on rust, strong wave current flipping the boat or moving

£78 where from buddy?
I bought ot one week ago testing it tomorrow
Epic! Good luck :)
Can they out run a gator though?
Mine lasted 4 months, then motors siezed due to Rust from water leaks... 👎
How do u pair the remote to the boat???
Does it work in salltwater?
Iv just brought this bait boat i was wandering if u can slow the hopper down as it looks like a aggressive chuck. Apart from that boat looks good .
All so how long does battery last pls as I'm off to France 🇫🇷
Can someone explain how I connect the remote to the boat I'm struggling to work it out

who gies fishing in freezing cold stormy weather anyway🙄
Got this 2day worked for 5min then stopped seems if the controller isn't connected for some reason any clues on how to sort this
No idea mate I would contact the manufacturer and get an exchange :)
Any1 no wat size the spring hinges are underneath the bucket mine are fuked and need buy some more lol
Not sure but take your old once into B&Q you should find something in there :)
Do you know how to pair the remote to the boat as mine no longer is paired
Have a look on google there some instructions:)
Do ones like this tangle your rig?
Hows the boat lasting thinking about getting one for the money seem not too bad
It’s bashed up but still works, you have to give it some tlc from time to time
Do you think this would be suitable for using dead bait for pike?
Is the hopper big enough
I would say yes! But there’s only one way to find out ahaha

What's the best way to put the rig in it?
We found it putting the rig in last and the lead at the back was best :)
Can l know about price r where can buy it?

can anyone tell me what the long bolt is for that comes with it, And what is the rubber plug at the end of the Bow? is it a drain plug in case of water getting in?
Not sure about the long bolt but yes the plug is for draining water :)
Is this the same as the Bilbear one?
Not to sure matw
it works at 300m?? can you use it at salt water?
300m will be a push and I’m sure you can if you put a extra seal around the boat :) hope this helps
