Abby openly showed her so much affection (including hugs and kisses) and was always so happy whenever she got opportunities and success in her singing career unlike her reaction to Nia's successes. kenz was treated second or third best by abby. Maddie was treated the best, but she was also treated badly, just SLIGHTLY better than other girls. she was gaslighted, manipulated and always under such immense pressure. so ultimately i dont think its right to say that any girl had to go through more than the other. they all suffered due to the show, abby and the producers.
Ava wasn’t treated poorly. She auditioned. She didn’t make it. And despite not being “on the team” She kept showing up. She continued to be featured in ongoing episodes despite not being on the team. Only times Abby was “mean” were caused by her mother.
Hearing someone say that someone is “too tall” while being a very tall girl really breaks my heart because no one can control their height without an expensive surgery to do so.
She is able can join other dance teams… Being tall didn’t stop her from being a great dancer, juts kept her from making on THAT team. Even Abby told her she was a great dancer several times.
It was so sad. You can tell she was raised well for saying thanks while crying. On the other hand I didint think she was that tall but her as an adult wow. Love u ava

The mom asked why she couldn’t be on the team, usually dance teams have people around the same height. If someone is too short or too tall it drags attention, which is not wanted. So its not really rude to say that especially when asked for

It's the way Abby spoke to those kids that makes every little thing she says rude! No reason for her to shout all the damn time at kids just because she is mad at the parents.. She would purposely talk down to the kids in front of the parents just to show that she could.
The way she grew out of all that trauma Abby put her through is amazing and that she was so humble and tried not to cry while saying "Thank you for this opportunity". But anyway she is beautiful and I love tall people can't lie.
I love how the whole time Chloe was silent and looked VERY uncomfortable & unhappy because of how Abby was humiliating Ava and of the whole situation itself instead of staring or judging like everyone else was. Chloe really was quite kind and mature for her age.
As a theater kid I can relate to this. I have missed an opportunity to audition for my cities yearly show of the grinch because of Covid. And now coming out of Covid where auditions are up and running again, I am too tall 😭

I feel that was her mom's fault cuz her mom knew she was out of the group when she made her compete with her studio ,I use to be a competitive dancer too and we were not allowed to train or anything with other studios unless it had a connection with my old studio and that's what happened to Ava she compete in her mom studio in the same competition as the other girl and she got kicked and her mom knew but Ava turned so beautiful after all that🫶🏻💘
this hasn’t specifically happened to me, but i’m a competitive dancer who is 5’9” and i have been told basically all of my life that i was too tall and “didn’t match the girls around me” so yeah this hits different😭
Nah, Kendal fit the group more. Ava didn’t make the team, but was good enough to keep being featured in other episodes… Ava did just fine on that show.
