it’s actually scary this guy has 5k subs, these videos have higher quality and more thought than 90% of youtubers. This man has truly got the potential of being one of the best on this platform. the algorithm just needs to stop being stupid cus he’s an absolute artist
I think this is so sick that you are surfing in Iceland! It makes it so much harder to surf and I give you respect for going out in that water. Keep doing it man, your situation just makes it more unique and special!
Hi Petr, you proved the old saying true in this video that "If you don't succeed at first, try, try again". Sometimes in life the best laid plans don't always work out. I hope that you had other successes on your trip to makeup for the lack of surfing success. Really enjoyed the end of the video with you jumping over the camera while surfing in Iceland . Home sweet home. Sometimes in life success comes when you least expect it. Best wishes on your continued success of your surfing dreams.
I have surfed a lot but moved away from the beach. When i do occasionally surf I just aim to catch one 'good' wave and the rest of the time it's just nice to be in the ocean with my mates. It's also my main form of exercise. Surfing in the Iceland looks hectic!
Man, i watched your video about learning to surf in 90 days about a year ago, then somehow your channel came up again and I watched your second surf video, and now this one. The thing that stood out to me the most is not just the progression in the surfing (which man, cant wait to get to the next one of this series,) but the stunning progression in your cinematography, editing, and storytelling. You have truly grown from creating a simple but good video capturing your journey, to telling an intricate story with story beats, coinciding music, editing and shots that support the story your telling, and just the whole package. Take it from someone who studied cinema, your growth is incredible. And you are rocking it in your surf journey! Almost cried at some points in the video haha that's how invested you got me. Congratulations, you are not just a commited surfer but also an artist.
Hi, I am from South Africa, and the waves are excellent, but I have surfed with many amazing surfers from Italy and Israel who can rip. They don't have such excellent conditions as well. They surf small waves and are excellent at generating speed. Iceland looks like it gets some epic waves on its day. Woah, that one clip showed some amazing waves I would love to surf if I was in Iceland. You can definitely become a fantastic surfer.
I have nothing to do with surfing and I would never try it but I really enjoy watching the videos that you made. You have a great way of storytelling and I was happy to see you smile on the board in this icecold water.
In 1990 a lad on Bondi leant me a 5,10 , I got smashed, i thought what is this sport .On and off i tried ,30 years later i thought, it cant be that hard . Now at 56 and back in middle England i think about surfing everyday , i did think back then "you'll never ever be out the back and get your own green wave" but i have . And i was on high for days. Never give up !! great films btw .
Hey man, love your videos, you should come to Cape Town in South Africa on one of your next holidays. If you can come this European winter, our summer, I can show you around a bit, I would however recommend coming in November of after January to miss the massive crowds.
I’m starting my surfing journey tomorrow and your videos have been sooo motivating! So glad I came across your channel! So awesome to see your surfing progress.
Really love your video and your dedication and maybe next time you go to Canarias try Famara you will enjoy this spot and try the south west of France, Biarritz, Guéthary, Saint Jean de Luz the wave are really good
All it takes is one good wave. Beautiful scenery, no crowds, good waves what more could one ask for? Well maybe 23 degree C water would be nice but then everyone would be out catching waves. Keep the videos coming please.
Awesome video very inspiring I just bought my first surfboard and I’m 33 very nervous but so excited and it’s great to watch your videos of you learning and getting experience with ups and downs and just being real 🙏 keep up the good work your content is so much better then any other surf RUclips video I’ve seen . Thank you for this. truly inspiring to a beginner like myself
Looking forward to the next set of videos bro! Im moving in 3 weeks to south florida and im super excited to pick this hobby up! Love it bro. watched all of them
It’s a mouth mount, I think they call it a bite mount. It’s especially good for surfing but it’s better to combine it with a floaty because if you drop it from your mouth you’ll lose the gopro 😬 I don’t use it often since I’m not that confident on the board.
Bro, I really want you to progress. I can't help you in any other way than to suggest Siargao Island, Philippines. a lot of beginners to advance surfer out there. Cheap rentals, good food, diverse community, tropical weather, and a lot of surfing spots from beginner to advance level.

Nice videos of your surfing progression! I was wondering how you filmed the POV shots in the beginning? What kind of head mount is that?
