I’m so happy you found me!!🫂
💕✍🏾
Me too ❤
Me too 🤗
Same!
Im a single girl dad with sole custody and the black queens (and a couple of kings) of Tik tok/RUclips have helped me keep my Baby Girl’s hair age appropriate, neat, and overall “Black mom approved” since I’ve been doing this alone.
I’ve beeb trying to learn to cornrow for a couple of years and YOUR tutorial has been the best for this visual learn. I just have readjust the hand placements in my mind since I’m doing it in someone else head.
I wish you had a video doing it on another person, but regardless, this is extremely helpful… thank you!
This is the first time I actually understood the entire process of corn-rolling. Thank you!!!!
I’m so happy I could help!! You are so welcome🫶🏾 happy braiding!!
That last "You can do it." Hit home lol. I can do this.😊😂
I wanted to make sure y’all heard me!😂 I believe in you, happy braiding!🤍
I have been watching "How to Cornrow" videos for more than a decade and could never get it. I can do just about anything else in terms of styling my hair except this one very important thing. This is the VERY first time it has ALL made sense. THANK YOU!!
My fav part was when you waved us in to come closer and said “you can do it”. Now I feel extremely motivated to try this hairstyle on my own! Thank you for this very helpful video!!!!
I had to make sure y’all heard me! You are so welcome🤍🥹 Please let me know how it goes when you try the style! Happy braiding xx
Only reason I’m going to try and do it because you told me multiple times I could❤️
This literally taught me how to cornrow in under minute omg, ive been watching tutorials for years and it never made sense until now
omggg i'm so proud of you! cornrowing is simple, but really tricky to learn. thank you for watching and happy braiding xx
Love the idea of just adding hair towards the bottom. I really feel like I can do it now! Especially since you told us 20x! 😅
I’ve watched so many videos on how to braid my own hair, and your video has been THE BEST! Thank you for this amazing breakdown
Gyal I was struggling with cornrowing my hair for so long. So many cute styles I can do for vacation now thanks to you. I wish I found you sonner😂❤
Thank you so much! This has been the best detailed tutorial by far. I can braid other people’s hair but I can’t braid my own. I wouldn’t know how to part and make sure everything was good. And now I do! ❤
learning how to take care of my natural hair so i’m so excited to try this tonight ☺️☺️ hoping i get so good i can add color
You explained the braiding process like a pro. ❤
thank you🤍 my goal was to make this technique as approachable as possible! happy braiding😚
I just want you to know that after 14 years of trying to learn how to braid, I watched your video yesterday and was able to cornrow for the first time in my life!!🎉🥳🥳 Thank you soo much for this great video
Thank you for going through the parting process too!! I’ve needed the full walk through because I was not getting how to get the back straight, I had the front solid but never the back. Thank youuuu I finally got it all down 😭😭
every time you would explain something i would be like “wow putting it that way, that’s so smart 😮” this style finally makes sense💖
I have watched other videos trying to do this style, and I couldn't. I watched your video, and it all made sense. I was finally able to do this. Thank you so much. God bless!! ❤
You are welcome! It took me forever to learn, so to hear that my video helped you and so many others makes me so happy! Happy braiding🤍
Really needed that "you can do it" towards the end of the vid😩❤️
Here from TikTok too 😊
This has finally helped me cornrow 😊 a million times thank you!!
I’m so proud of you! It’s not easy and you still did it! Happy braiding😌

This is what I need and what I was looking for. Thank you so much!❤️
I saw your video on Instagram and instantly went to this video omg thank you girl I just ordered me a 3 way mirror and when it comes I’m instantly going to try this cause this tutorial was great and I need to learn how to cornrow and part and feed in those are the only things that holding me back from having my hair laid anytime I want 😫 cause I do my own hair I’m to shy to talk to any stylist 😭 and plus I love doing my hair 😊 thank you for this I will be doing this for sure 💞
You are so welcome! I struggled to do this style initially as well, but practice really makes progress. I would love to know how it goes! If you have any questions, I'm here! You got this
So talented! Love your hair, and this video was very helpful. 👏🏾
You have an amazing video!!! I felt like you really were talking to me and that for giving me the confidence to feel like I can do it. You did a great job on you hair. Now it's my turn to do my son's head. Thank you.

I get now feeds in you pick small pieces of hair with stitch you actually make the stitches
It looks very natural.
Here from tik tok as well!!! I’m so excited!!! I feel like I finally feel like I can do this! THANK YOU GIRL!!!! Hopefully my daughter will thank you also 🥰
Best video hands downs
thank you, the best tutorial I have seen
You are so so welcome! 🤍
Parting is so aggravating lol I just started doing my own cornrows so I’m going to try parting the hair first and the barrel twists 🙌🏾
Excellent work Sis. ✅Love the background music too. Great choice.
thank you so much! I’ve been experimenting with background music, so I appreciate the feedback!😅
Thank you ❤
This is a very interesting technique of cornrowing with your hand positioning! I might have to try it this way next time and see how that goes.
I found it so hard to follow the tutorials online, I had to just sit in front of my mirror and figure it out😂 after you try it, I would love to know how it goes!
@@micahdixon That’s exactly how I learned too! With mannequin heads and trying the same hand gestures my mom did on her clients. Lowkey just said yolo and played in my hair until I got the technique down. I learned your technique after a few tries in the mirror and I think I’d have to perfect it to get a definite pattern to show but I kept wanting to revert back to the way I know to cornrow hair. I applaud you though it’s a great tutorial!
This was amazing! Thanks!
You are so welcome! Happy braiding!🤍
Thank you this was a very detailed tutorial
Of course! I hope it helps you on your braiding journey!
saving this to my watch later cause aint no way im grown af, black, and cant cornrow💀 we gone learn ta day!
gurlll we all gotta start somewhere! give yourself some grace as you learn!
Beautiful I will be trying it
Thank you! I’d love to know how it goes once you try. You got this!🤍
Thank you so much! ❤️
Of course! Happy braiding🤍
I LITERALLY LOVE THIS THANK YOUUUU 🧎🏾♀️🧎🏾♀️🧎🏾♀️
I love this video. For me i follow the same method but everything is held with the tips of the fingers. Will try this to see if it's easier to keep the sections from tangling
Thank uuu❤️❤️
You’re so welcome!
This is so interesting! Instead of scooping up hair it’s kind of like pushing the added hair into the previous section! Never thought to do it that way
Yes! One of my biggest struggles was gripping my hair. Doing it this way helped me maintain my tension which in turn improved the look of my braids!
I’m just learning how to cornrow my daughter’s hair. This step by step video was perfect! Thank you!!! Do you tie off the braids with elastics, or how does that work?
This is video I need it
Good braids 🏆💕
Thank you so much!🫶🏾
This was so helpful thank you so much for this tutorial! can you try doing the tiger stripe/ zig zag parting cornrows plz?
From tiktok. Very awesome detailed video!
Welcome to my channel!! Thank you, I really wanted to cover alll the steps with this video!🫶🏾
Hudos to you little sis because I KNOW your arms were hurting trying to part the back using that mirror 🪞😫! Thank you for this!💖💛💖💖🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
😍
🔥🔥🔥
thank you!!
Does the gel have to be sticky and strenghten the hair?
Here from TikTok!!! I got it on the first try if I could upload a picture I would but I’ll tag you in my comment section. Thank you ❤😂
Is there an alternative to gel? I have dermatitis and can’t have gel on my scalp like that.
Here from TikTok. 5:23 is when I learned how to do it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU🥰🥰🥰. I feel like a bad bitch now that I learned how to braid my hair back🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
You are that girl and always have been! You are so welcome!!! I’m so proud of you🥹🫶🏾
How many packs of hair do u need for 8 feedin braids
I’m learning how to braid hair to prepare for my daughter
period💅🏾 she is going to appreciate your effort so much! you got this!🤍
I was able to cornrow but obviously is isn’t perfect. I didn’t know how to mold the hair correctly, hair from other sections got into the braid no matter how many pins/barrel twists I did. And the back of my head is a whole train wreck. But I did it (am I going to take it out and start over, maybe)
the only way I was able to do this was when I mirrored your movements even though your left was my right lol😭
Hi Micah thank you so muchh for this video !! I have a question : How did you put the subtitles in your video please ?
You’re so welcome! I did them through Adobe Premiere Pro. Their software transcribed my audio and then I made corrections!
@@micahdixon Thank youu so muchhh 💖
Hi, do you mind sharing the all caps font you used throughout the video??
It’s Perandory Condensed!
hey, can you list the products that you used? gel and braiding hair etc?
Yes ma’am! I used extra hold Shine ‘n Jam and xpressions 41” pre-stretched braiding hair in 1B
Can i use eco gels as a gel?
I’ve never done it with ecostyler, but I don’t see why not!
I love RUclips university 🤭
❤
🫶🏾
I can’t do it
Me because I don’t need to add hair: 😊
Hand position is weird! The braids won’t be neat
Didn’t work
Here from insta🤩
Gods work! this tutorial will save me 1000s ty🥹
Wonderful video. For the first time, I was able to cornrow my husband’s short hair with almost no product. Thank you!
