You might have been out of phase when running the two amps in stereo. That can happen when running two amps. You just need a phase inverter between the output and one of the amps. You will hear a big difference. You will get the bottom end back.
Just go for PodGo... Hotone promised 9 blocks... but technically it could only support 8. I have one right now, sometimes it does felt processed. There's no way to tweak the EQ beyond out of the predetermined sound or effects, even if it has a mix parameter. Plus, there's some glitchy sound if you wanna use the wah or pitch shifter effects. The Exp pedal switch can't turn ON/OFF a effects block, also mind that the same effect sounds different in FX1, FX2 and FX3... Ryan, if you're still having this unit, try using Harmony Pitch Shift on all different FX block... You'll see the problem
I dont have one of these to test so....grain of salt. In my experience all pitch fx need to have the cleanest signal possible to work with. So you could try placing them first in the chain...before the amp, any mod fx, etc.
Were you running a power amp when playing though your guitar cabinet? Also, it does not look like there was an on/off switch, how did you power it down?
This thing sounds HUGE. Not too shabby for this kind of thing. But also keep in mind, these kinds of devices all need user tweaking to get strong tones - the presets on all this stuff, including top tier ones like Helix, Boss GT-1000, etc...all will get you into the tone ballpark but you must tweak to taste. One thing: I've had multi effects pedals for decades and still to this day, unity volume across the presets is CRAP on all of them. Drives me crazy....lol This one at 500USD? Need to play with it myself, but maybe the Mooer GE 300 is a better bet...?
With a Multi-effect you do not gather, noises, hum, buzz, etc, like you do with pedals. 20 - 30 years ago the poor kids would buy pedals, then when they got more professionals they would buy Multi effects like this. I really don't know what happened but 10-15 years ago someone decided that pros all of a sudden would use pedals instead. Pedals are not more shielded than they where in the days, Boss, etc still use the same components without using shielding metals like Mu-metal or Permalloy. But those same pedals that where selling for 40$ now are selling for 300$. In my opinion yes it is better to buy a Multi-effect like this. You can sound like any bands you like and create your own tones. You can even use Impulse response with this unit, so that mean sounding exactly like the band you like. You have 100+ pedals in this unit. You can plug headphones. Sadly the only thing missing is an FX send /return where you can use external pedals in the middle of one of your presets, but you can still plug any pedals you would love to have more between your guitar and the unit. I hope it will help your questioning. At the end just remember: do I have fun with it. And trust me I have been a professional musician for the last 30 years or so before getting Lyme disease, when you play with a Multi effect you don't go back to pedals. RUclipsrs talk a lot more about pedals because it give them more hits to their videos, on the other hand talking about a Multi effect only one time with hundreds of pedals in it is a lot less lucrative than hundreds of videos about pedals for them... Good luck.
I'd go with a multi-effects unit as well. You get a bunch of different sounds, and if you decide that some of the effects sound bad (for example, I sometimes dislike the drives on these units) you can get pedals only for those.
@@lucid_delirium976 Check out the new Line 6 PODgo, nice review here compare to the most expensive Helix (you should check out the Mooer 200-300, and obviously the Hotone Ampero in this video. I would like to know if you can use 2 or 3 drives in the same preset on this pedalboard and if you can assign the on and off of one of the pedals in the chain to the footswitches?
I believe demonstrations like this would be way more useful if the reviewer actually read the user guide at least glanced through it before reviewing the unit, trying to figure things out on video isn't really saving any time and it ultimately makes watchers who know the unit somewhat frustrated and for those interested in the unit mislead.
Hi there, I would like to ask something. Some people on the internet talking about the hiss problem with this device. But as I understand yours doesn't have that. Did you ever have a hiss problem with this device? Sincerely
everything should be measured in METAL-ZONE LENGTH! fck metric / imperial. Imagine sitting in your car and your navi-system suggests to turn left in 8,264 METAL-ZONES! Damn, life would be awesome!
I don't know, here in Canada [$714 CAD] could buy 4 Boss pedals for the same price. A little too rich. A lot of options 9n it that's for sure. Have few pedals thanx to these uploads . 🙏👹🤘🎸
I agree. I have one right now, sometimes it does felt processed. There's no way to tweak the EQ beyond out of the predetermined sound or effects, even if it has a mix parameter.
I'm not really a fan of MFX boards to begin with, but It's not bad for someone who wants to sample basic effect tones or needs an amp modeler for Recording straight to a computer but I think theres much better on the market.
@@glroman91 most of the time I prefer to play old school with stomp boxes going straight face into a tube amp and just mic up. The lead guitarist for the thrash metal band I play bass in loves using MFX boards but they're just not my style.
I suggest skipping ahead to about 26:30 to hear the direct output. I don't think the previous examples represents what the unit actually sounds like.
Thanks I almost gave up lol
Ryan, dude, my man, you cover some of the best affordable gear ever! Thank you for all you've shown us!
I’d go with “hot tone” as the pronunciation - the alternative might get you de-monetized lol
I'd love to see you shoot this out with the Headrush Gigboard.

Man. I got to be honest. You could put out a video of you sorting the pedals on the back wall and I would probably watch it.
Very versatile. Game changer, at that price.
ONE metalzone, ah-ah-ah. TWO metalzones, ah-ah-ah!
distant lightning going down

I've spent way too many hours with the organ sounds just playing stadium sounds😂
Sounds like it would be good for recording direct...
Thank you for this cilip! Do you think it is also worth buying for bassists?
Cool! You have a really good command of surf.
Does it come with the connection to download stuff from computer? If not what kind of cable does it need.

Ever heard of manual focus?
How do you know which effects did.you turn on when in the middle only the preset name is showing?
If I remember correctly this covers Bass and maybe keyboards but most is geared towards guitar but still a studio swiss army knife pedal
When I click the Amazon link I get an Electric Kazoo? Wonder what I’m doing wrong....
It's really hard to covertly watch this video in the office (it's slow today) when the sound volume keeps jumping around like a squirrel on Red Bull.

Joe Satchton this one is 300. The bigger one with a few more options is 500
is it better to spend 300 euros on cheap individual pedals... or get something like this?

In the US, it's like $300.
The Hotone makes the Harmony guitar sound better even with it's weak pickups.
This would have been much better if you were portrait camera and the ampere was landscape
You probably figured out by now, but you can change the effect order as you want.
How?
Sweetwater is selling this for the same price as the Pod Go
I think you're looking at the original Ampero. This is the Ampero One, which is smaller and cheaper.
I think that it sounded like it has some potential to me and would be a good seller at $399.99?
Measuring the width in Metal Zones ist probably the most American thing to do
Jonas Jordan in Sweden they measure with an hm-2
But... are you playing it in front of the amp?
I was pretty clear about what i was doing in the video.

How much do I have to subscribe on patreon for you to mail me that shirt?
best guitar gear you can buy under 500$ so far but better buy original ampero 100, bought mine with discount for only 290euro.
The name of the movie- I despise Hotone Ampero One ?
Ho Tone, to serenade the Ladies of The Night.
Contraction of two words. Hot - Tone. Pronounced Hot-tone 🙂

It’s pronounced hot tone straight from the horses mouth
A horse told you that?
No no.
You realized your error with the amp and cab sim and still made us sit through 2 minutes and 45 seconds of bad tone? Unsubbed.
