This movie is so great. That twist punched me in the gut, I don’t usually expect a movie like this to tug at my heartstrings. And how good was Josh Brolin as K? Jemaine Clement is so good at being a villain. Perfect use of his incredible voice. Just a great cast all around. The new MiB movie just doesn’t feel right. It’s boring and unimaginative and doesn’t have the same rhythm and humor as the first three. It also suffers from having the same sense of humor that every blockbuster movie has these days and it’s all just variations of the same jokes and banter you’ve already seen. It’s really not worth your time.

I’m glad you liked the new one, but that has nothing to do with me and my reasoning for liking or disliking it.
It's not often a simple movie trilogy knocks out of if the park there times in a row but they really managed it here. The K J reveal was awesome, brings tears to the eyes. Great Josh Brolin too
Id like to think it was him lol. I mean he is an Alien so it’s not crazy to think he still looks the same. Technically Griffin was still the same age at the end of the film. I do wish Frank was in 3

I absolutely love this movie. So fun and exciting and I still get tears at the twist as well. Couple really good time travel/fix the past movies are 12 Monkeys and Butterfly Effect. In Butterfly Effect, he goes back repeatedly and each time he returns to the present, it’s gone terribly wrong in a different way.
The ending gets me every time. They laid Easter eggs for you to find if you go back and rewatch the older movies. For example, in the first movie, J asks “K have you ever flashy thinged me?” K lied because he did it when J was a kid
Also where Griff says where theres death there will always be death. In the alternate Scenario where boris went back and killed K. In that scenario J’s father never died. What griff wanted to say to J was by saving your partner your father will be killed. Then maybe J could of saved both
i didn't recall the black guy from the past was J's dad I was thinking HOW THE FUCK is that gonna affect the future if he was gonna have a kid who would have a kid repeating that could mess up the future no longer having them in it... ... ...it didn't even occur to me will was over 40 when this came out cause that guy was like "it wasn't a good time for your kind" like he hadn't seen that time it's been a while since I saw the original trilogy I wanna watch them again immediately now that would be my plans for the day but I don't own the DVDs (or do streaming)
That bowling alley is in my neighborhood it’s called Van Nest Lanes in the Bronx. They came in and redid everything and the owners left it the way they made it instead of letting them turn it back to the original😎

"Where there is death there is always death" remember he touch jay he was speaking on his dad dieing that going back in time wouldn't change it it will still happen and k found little jay 😢because we needed that story it all ties into the first one back to 2 then 3 again
I 😭 at the end. It was a level of sadness I wasn't expecting in this movie. I admit, I got a bit misty eyed when Rosario Dawson's character had to leave at the end of MIB 2. But this one 💔 side note - Josh Brolin is 😍 #zaddy
The arc net only worked against the Boglodites (Boris's species) and it was the arquillains attacking in 1. PS you can tell I have watched MIB too many times.

"I like it when things wrap around like that" In writing/stories. it's known as 'book ending'...and I LOVE when they do that well, too. By the way, MIB International wasn't as GOOD as these films, but as is often the case, IMHO...it was not NEARLY as bad as people claim, I liked it OK...;)
A late sequel, which is really good. Now that doesn't happen too often, to put it mildly (see Independence Day 2, the predator, the alien, or the terminator franchise)

I remember back in the VHS days I thought the 1st was Great the 2nd not as quite as good but still a fair try but this 3rd one just went too far off the rails for me. I remember thinking Josh Brolin didn't look Anything like Tommy Lee to me at all. So I've only kept the original MIB in my now Digital library. Sorry!

Two great things about this film:
1) Josh Brolin as a young K.
2) How they tie it back in with the first movie.
