i hear this, and i think of what Jesse Lacey once said. I'm probably paraphrasing here, but he said something along the lines of "for every Brand New song we release, there are two or three unreleased songs"
This is by far their most psychedelic tune. If they recorded this with the equipment, etc., of a stoner rock studio this would be MASSIVE. Imagine Elder or Dead Meadow covering this
There are enough clues on the internet that allude to it. Also if you listen to the Deja Entendu studio diary, I believe you can hear them recording this or the other one.

that really excites me. i hope one day there's a compilation album of their unreleased stuff altogether, maybe after they come to a close
shiona x that would be nice
That's pretty common, for most bands.

@@shionax9235 did you make this comment before brand new broke up?
this sounds much darker than most of Deja, would have been awesome to hear the final product on the album.
This would have been a cool outro song that they could play as an encore at shows and improv with. Man, I miss Brand New
Thank you so much for existing, you wonderful person!
Eyyyyy.

Soothing, as we sing along quietly in our heads, ;)

My band is learning this by ear and turning it into a song
