Hi great video’s, can you tell me if Sonos move and Sonos bar gen 2 can be connected in the same room, also I can’t connect my Sony Walkman to my Sonos move, thanks pete
Hi Pete. Yes they can be in the same room but it will not act as a Cinema. And unless your walkman is bluetooth, you can't. Have a look at that video : ruclips.net/video/VKF4qvA_-Tg/видео.html
Hi when adding a new speaker to my System in the living room it saves in living room 2 and is not linked with the other speakers? Do you know how to fix this ?
No, the system is horrible. The sound is ok, but the software is outrageous. Please go for something else. I bought 6 speakers and now I'm selling them again. It's that frustrating.
Hello sir i hope you can help me with this because im really confuse.I have an existing home theater sonos set up ARC,DUAL SUBS AND TWO SONOS ONE SL.for movies can i add the sonos amp with ceiling speakers?for it have those over head sound?or it will only works for music?thank you
Hi I have seround set up arc, sub, era 100 connectet wi Fi,my question is Sometimes I want to turn on the rear speakers only to listen to music, but when I try to turn on the rear only, it asks me to turn off the surround system and connect separately to the Era 100 speakers for stereo sound. How is it possible sometimes on only the rear era 100 speakers whitch out disconnect seround set up thanks
As far as I know there is no option to quickly disconnect surround to listen to music only on those one. But I really don't understand why you would like to do such a thing. In your setup, your two best speaker are the Arc and the Sub, why avoiding them? You can go in music mode instead of cinema to make the rear play as loud as front speaker. This is usualy done automatically when you listen tu music instead of TV.
I have watched many of your videos but I haven’t seen this question. How easy is it to move/use the 2 back speakers of the sonos home theater set up to different room( garage and master bedroom) when not watching movies. And the. And then set it up as home theater again to watch movies.
That is something you don't want to do. You would have go in the setting everytime to do it. It's a 2 minutes setup everytime, plus you break your calibration every time.
Hi. I just got an era 300. Added it to the network etc, and everything is running fine. My question is: if I want to put another speaker in another room, either another 300 or a 100, do I need to go through the routine of putting it on the network? I know you didn’t do that in the video, but was curious as to whether or not the first speaker acts as the outpost for all others that you add.
Hey great videos and great help. Do you know if it is possible to set one play speaker to a extended WiFi system? We have a garden office which is in the same network but connected to a WiFi extender - I have a play one I want to add to the office which sits in a WiFi extender
Thanks! If it's the same network you are fine. But take a look at that video, you might need a boost if it's not working fine at first. ruclips.net/video/BjRqY1hw0ds/видео.html
U see what u have to make sure is they both on the same wifi link I was haveing same problem becouse my wifi external was a different make so by useing that it was useing a different band with so when I set em up with the same band with everything was working fine I hope this helps
I have a Sonos beam sound bar hooked up to my TV. When I turn on the TV the sound bar turns on - no extra steps. I added two speakers to rooms adjacent to the room the TV is in. I want them to play what is on the TV when it is turned on also. The only way I can find to do that is to turn them on each time I turn on the TV with my cell phone or tapping each speaker . Is it possible to have them all turn on together. Not trying to make it stereo, need the full sound in each additional room.
There is some automation you can do in the menu for that. But I would not recommend it with a TV as unless they are setup as a cinema, there will be a slight delay in the audio.
Question. I have a sonos speaker that I have reset and searched on the sonos app. The speakers shows up to be added but every time I try to add it it says that it can't be found on the network. Even when I hard wire the speaker to the network using a an ethernet cable it still says it can't be found on the network. Any reason why?
Hum. That's very weird. Here is some things you can try. Reset the speaker Reinstall the app on you phone or use an other one. reboot all of your sonos speaker

However, when ‘adding’ the SL after plugging in it says ‘’may not appear in system, try unplugging” once I do this it doesn’t find the One SLs in the system. Solid white light on each SL. How do you connect the Sonos Speaker to the Sonos Soundbar without using the app? My wife wants to be able to connnect it back to the tv soundbar when she finds it in the "on status" but not connected.
What I did with sonos roam speakers was connected them with blue tooth and then with the app went to room 1 and room 2 merge them that was to get surround sound

I've double checked, 5.2 is the maximum. support.sonos.com/en-us/article/surround-sound-guidelines-and-limitations You can add more speaker in your room and group them, but it will not be a 7.4 kit... Plus you might have a small delay in the extra pair.
