The Sonos 300 stands arrived a few days ago, the 300s arrived today. Assembled the stand and followed your instructions on setting them up. Worked like a charm. Then I turned on the TV and OMG!!! The 300s provide the bass the arc was missing (subs are at the rear of my room). There is a wall of sound and authority that the Arc by itself simply did not have. Before setting them up, I questioned whether this was going to make a difference and whether I would regret my decision. After a brief listen, I seriously doubt it. I was just listening to an episode of Black Mirror. With an action flick, the sound must be epic!
I have done this with 4 Era 100s And it sounds awesome!! For volume control all I did was too use An IKEA Symfonisk Remote that way I can control group volume without my phone
I was gonna ask this as well. Was thinking 100s for front and 300s for rear.. or just do 4 100s. Still debating on getting the 300s. Jist got the arc and 2 100s. Haven't gotten the sub yet should have it by the end of this week 😊
Did you group each pair or Era 100s in their own group? Or have all 4 speakers in the same group? When I tried adding my 3rd and 4th Era 100s into the Family Group that my first two Era 100s were in (as a stereo pair), the Sonos app just created new groups for the 3rd (Family Group 2) and 4th (Family Group 3) Era 100s. I know I can still link all 4 together by linking the two groups but I was hoping to have all 4 (as 2 sets of stereo pairs) in one group.
I love it. I actually tried it in my house. I actually have towers up front as well - with the Sonos Amp- so they are integrated and found the towers to be a better add up front…, but that’s my room. I also went into Dialogue Sync and kicked the toggle up to 3 and that lines all the speakers involved and syncs the sound. But sometimes it can pull the lip sync off a tiny bit from screen to sound when you do that, but not noticeable to stop the madness.. I appreciate your effort and love the videos! Thank you. 👊
I’m still waiting for Sonos making it possible to make several groupings/parrings at the same time that I can choose between. I have a layout at home where a pair of era 300’s would be perfect as rears and at the same time being used for both a stereo pair and as a single speaker for my kitchen on the kitchen island. Really not seeing what should limit this in the software, so hoping it’ll be made possible at some point soon.
I just did this with Eras in surround and OneSLs are front stereo pair. Set up was easy, and it sound great. I was thinking I may have to adjust the sync a bit, and was wondering why you did not go into this, but it is not necessary. Brilliant! Works great for TV home theater, and music with no echoing etc.!!!
BTW. I finally bought a pair of Era 300s. Created a stereo pair and grouped them as fronts, with my Beam 2, Gen 2 sub, a 2 symphoniks rears. It works wonderfully with Atmos Movies and Music from Apple TV. I now have upward firing front sound, with great sound stage without having to buy an ARC. The Ikea rears do a fine job as rears.
Have you tried the Dolby test tones on this? I tried this with my One's and experiment was a fail. My heights stopped working (had to unpair and pair the era 300s), and the dolby test tones the Ones were playing too much of the rear sound. The wall of sound coming from the front was really intriguing and there was some benefit from having LR separation. But too many other issues.
After listening for a few days. I have an observation and a question. The observation is that you probably want the Sonos app open when you watch TV. So good to see that this is possible but Im still a little confused. I had my first experience with Sonos buying an ERA 300 pair and combined these with a GEN 3 sub. Was impressed with these for music and getting to experience the Dolby Atmos music tracks. A few weeks ago I added the ARC and my first impressions were dashed at how much worse the music was when using the ARC and ERA 300 now as surrounds. I know now that yes for movies the Arc/Era/Sub setup is excellent but Im still missing the experience I loved with the music. So can anyone confirm. When having an additional stereo pair of ERA 300 grouped with a HT setup, what happens when playing Dolby Atmos / Spatial tracks? Do you then still get the height audio from the stereo pair and the HT. Or does the user have to then reduce the volume of the ARC/SUR but still leave the SUB audio level to preference. It would be good to have another video on this, but showcase such a setup with Spatial / Dolby Atmos for music and then also for Dolby Atmos for Games / Movies / TV shows.
So glad I found this video. Just ordered a pair of 300's and a beam gen 2 with the plan to use the 300's as fronts. Had no idea this was not officially possible until after ordering. Thanks
It‘s pain tho as you cannot control the volume from the tv remote as it only changes the beams volume. You can only control the volume of the group with the era 300s from the sonos app. This sucks. I returned my 300s to sonos and can only say f*ck u sonos for not making this officially possible to add more speakers to a home theatre system.
Does the 300's Stereo pair in front also play / add surround sound when watching a movie when added to your arc, 2 gen 3 subs & 2 x 300's rear ? Does all four 300's add the surround sound or does the 300's rear only ?
Very nice!!! Ive looked at the comments, seems like im the only one that has a delay between the stereo speakers and theatre!? (Im running five as stereo, 300 as surround) I tried playing around with group delay without luck. Makes every movie sound echo
Hi there.. Really helpful video. For my TV setup : I was thinking of grouping a pair of Sonos 5s (front Right and Left) with a Sonos Beam (connected to the TV via HDMI). Will there be any issues controlling the volume of this entire group with the TV remote? Or will I have to use the Sonos app for that?
For TV setup, can you position 2 x era 100's behind without a 3rd speaker upfront or will that sound weird? (put a different way, should you always pair 2 x era 100's front facing?)
I have 4 Move speakers and they play outside with my patio Arc soundbar and sub but when I turn on the game the sound won't play on the Move speakers. Is there any work around for that to happen?
Wired vs Wireless question…with the following setup ARC,Sub gen3, 300’s is it a good idea to connect ARC/Subs via Ethernet and 300’s dongle /Ethernet? Will there be a delay between the 300’s and the rest of the system? In a 2nd room same setup with 100’s instead of 300’s same question about delay because of the dongle
Hey, thank you so much for the detailed video. What happens if I pair speakers like Move in stereo in my bedroom, but then take one of the speakers to the garden outside, far away from my wifi network. Can it be used as a standalone speaker without breaking the configuration? When I put it back in my bedroom, will the stereo binding resumes?
Hi! One question, Can I pair two One SL speakers with the Ray sound bar? The thing is that one of the speakers is first generation and the other is second...
Hi I have one arc, two one SL as rear and one sub gen 3 Now I want to use two era 300 as rear and move the two one SL to the front via grouping. Will that work???
It's so crazy to me to think that a sophisticated system like Sonos can't or won't let this be a possibility. If they could get this figured out, there would be no competition against a system like this.
I just did exactly what you recommended. Grouped an extra pair of era 300 up front with the arc system w/ 2 subs and a pair of era 300 in the back. The sound is amazing. Thank you for your recommendation. Btw, what EQ and other settings do you have them on?
Are the 300s to much for smaller and closer distance from the rears? For example next to couch.. do they need more distance for rears? For front im sure will add but will it still play atmos ?
Thanks for the useful video. Can you set up stereo pair with dual sub just for music listening or is the dual sub option only available in home theatre setting?
First of all... thanks for the channel and great content. Really appreciate it. I am thinking to add another pair of Era 300s to my Arc, Sub Gen3, 2xEra300s and albeit I do watch some movie content my main use of Sonos system is for music. I have a really big open plan house so I think the addtion of the second set of Eras would take it to another level as the Arc isn't great. So my question is this.... when you group a second pair of stereo paired Era 300s is the stereo image respected? and... do they play music in Atmos? I was also considering grouping 4 Era 300s either individually or 2 sets of stereo pairs as I think it could be an amazing music set up, but I'm not sure how the Sonos app treats the Stereo pairing, grouping and Atmos. Do you have any idea? Cheers, Chris
@@neverenoughtech thanks for the reply 😉 To be honest music is soooo much better on the stereo paired Era300s that I am considering just grouping 2 sets of stereo pairs and ditching the Arc and Sub completely.
It's seriously insane how hard it is to get 2added speakers working. I followed this guide 100% but can not get any audio from the back speakers. I work in IT and have delt with 100s of software's and this is by far the hardest to actually get working.
RUclips offers up this video because I am searching how to work the app and configurations after I’ve moved and now have a different network. 😠 My first job is somehow to get the app to re-recognize my old SL’s and my new Arc, Beam, sub and mini sub (two different room setups). 🧐 Then, I can go through your video for those rooms.
Daniel, thank you for the reviews, they are very helpful. I need to buy a soundbar and would like to know if you are offering consultations. Please let me know how I can get in touch with you.
Played around some more and you just have to find the right volume level split between the Arc and the 300s and the rear surrounds do not vanish. It all works remarkably well together. Can’t imagine anyone needing more than this for HT.
Thanks! It is complicated if you’re not familiar but. Ring a long time user I think they do a pretty good job considering the flexibility they offer in wirelessly mix matching components
Wondering if there is a big drop in sound quality from a single 300 or 100 when connected via bluetooth and how to also connect an external device such as a turntable? I still can't get my head around this so probably going to visit a store this week. Is it better to buy two speakers as stereo, perhaps with a soundbar or sub mini? Or would it be better to connect speakers/ turntable/ tele to an AV receiver?
I wouldn’t connect via BT unless necessary - it monopolizes your phone audio and the quality is poorer than a direct from server stream. Some can tell, not all. You would connect a turn table via a usbc to aux adapter - you would need a preamp of some form . Two speaker stereo pair is the better option and a sub would sound very good.
I have a Sonos system, Arc, a pair of One SL’s, and a Gen 3 Subwoofer. Everything was working great. I was evan thinking of up grading to a pair of Era 300’s. After watching this I’m now so confused that I’m thinking of going back to the TV only. 😬
I'm doing research and noted that you have a lot of speakers. I also noted this comment on a different thread: "I would mention the Sonos Beam Gen 2 as an alternative to the Arc. It’s what I have paired to a Sonos Sub Mini and pair of Sonos Era 300s and I love the setup!" -- It was the "paired to… a pair of Sonos era 300s" that got my attention. the Beam Gen 2 lacks upward pointing speakers, but the Sonos Era 300s have them, right? Maybe this person paired them as front speakers, as you have in this video and that makes up for the what the Beam Gen 2 lacks vs the Arc? Or maybe they're just in the back, but the upward pointing drivers are still filling the gaps the Beam Gen 2 would otherwise have? Maybe it's an interesting thing for you to test or maybe you already have insights?
When the Era 300 rear speakers are not part of the Home Theatre (playing television rear audio), can they be used as traditional (non-rear) Sonos speakers and play music with Dolby Atmos or another audio source (non-television)?
Yes you can play Dolby Atmos from a single Era300 or 300 stereo pair or 300 stereo pair with sub … any arrangement of era 300 can play Dolby Atmos music through the integrated Apple Music and spatial audio via Amazon music
I’m in too much pain to even look at the app these days - but what I showed off is very fundamental to Sonos ecosystem so yes it is possible (assuming the app is behaving)
Hmm, if anyone is still following this thread. I'm thinking I should put the Pair E300s in front, as a stereo pair, and use the Pair OneSLs as the surrounds. Hesitant to get into this, with the new "S3" app., lol.
You can only pair two surrounds to the Arc. You can group as many other speakers as you want … just like you would multiroom. I would pair the era 300s
Can you help me understand why my Sonos Era 100s paired seem to always go out of sync? I'll have to stop the music then push play to get it back into sync with each other.. I feel like I never had this issue with my previous ones.
Could you guide me? My Sonos device always disconnects, I get the message that it cannot find the devices and I have to do the tedious process of pairing them, then it works without a problem but a few days later they disconnect again. Any recommendation?
Ok i have sonos beam 2, mini sub and 2 sonos era 100 - my problem is, that i want to use them all as TV set up (which is easy by pairing) but also i want to play music only with 2 era 100 and sonos sub. Is that possible? (while i have pairing the whole group). The thing is i can make two groups beam is one and second is mini and two eras, but that way eras wont play rears as TV when i group them. SO this whole koncept of pairing and grouping is wrong and not usefull for me.
My full answer Part 2: Arc, Era 100, Era 300, Five, HomePods (Home Theater Performance) ruclips.net/video/xsbbz_mnXD4/видео.html Short answer if you have the ones already and have an exciting re-use plan for the ones, sure update. Starting from scratch going with the 100s is a no brainer. The provide a moderate but noticeable upgrade over the ones
Would getting the Samsung q990c be worth obtaining in a small room? I’m building a dedicated movie room and it’s roughly 120sq feet, I want a good audio system that can do Dolby atmos I know the Samsung q990c max output/ usage would never been seen in such a small room but even with it dialed back I’m sure the audio quality would be better than that of a cheaper sound bar setup? Thoughts?
The benefits of the C really are more obvious in a big room where it can breath and be less restrained. That doesn’t mean it won’t sound good or better just that the advantage over cheaper systems will be masked a bit ( it as obvious)
I’m new to hifi-in-home and only messed around with a little car-stereo… I start pay attention to Sonos. I was wondering… Play:5 (and 3) gen 1&2….what can those speakers do i mean can you add them in your future home-cinema set up with f.ex a Beam2 and ERA100+sub…. Same questions for the IKEA book-shelf speakers…
Yes you can add as rears to Sonos soundbars - and add Sonos subs to a single speaker or single speakers … the era speakers are restricted to specific sets of the most recent soundbars … essentially the 300s are only compatible with the Beam2 and Arc … the 100 same but also the Ray
@@neverenoughtech I watched your video when you got 4x ERA300 in a theatersystem(and yes i got it that you try ERA100&Five up front as a stereopair added to the "Ark" system….so my wonder is….:can you replace the rear 300’s with the 100’s. Reason for asking is that the Norwegian Aut.Dealer(Hifiklubben) got dicount on B.gen2,2xERA100’s and Sub mini. So if i later wanna upgrade i choose the 2x300’s up front before adding Gen3’s.

I am clearly more broken than you. Having installed the illegal Sonos system as my main HT setup, I figured, why stop there? So, in my workout/sitting area room, I am doing the following: main system of Sonos Ray and Sub Mini grouped with a pair of Sonos One SLs. In my defense, I already had the One SLs and there is a TV in the room. The TV did not have any kind of soundbar and the sound from the TV sucked. The sounds from the One SLs was clearly lacking in bass, so enter the Sub Mini. The TV needed a soundbar of some kind, so enter the Ray. So I ended up with everything I needed for a second illegal system. So why not??? Right now, waiting for the Ray to show up (sub is already here). I’m interested in seeing what the One SLs add to the Ray/Sub Mini combo. I’m hoping for a “wall of sound” to carry me thru my workouts, whether listening to pumping music or trying to distract myself from my pain by watching TV. Doubt I would have tried this if I didn’t already have the One SLs lying around. But you share in the blame as I never would have thought of doing this if not for your videos.
Thanks I new there must be a way to add fronts sonos say it don't work but clearly does. I am looking to add the fronts not sure if I should go with the 5 or just get another pair for era 300. I know when the 5 get add the low end will just go to the sub so just unsure have your hear this set up and what with U do...
I got this information from Sonos concerning TV going to grouped front 300s. Is this BS or do you agree the front won't have Atmos.. "The TV sound going to those “front” ERA 300s is in stereo only. There is NO upfiring Atmos content going from the TV to those speakers! Please stop trying to force us to answer differently. Either you believe us or you don’t, and if you don’t, go buy yourself some ERA 300s and duplicate what the RUclips video does.
This is ALL your fault. I resisted the first Sonos video, but fell victim to this second video. Ordered the Sonos speaker stands for the two front channels yesterday and will be adding the 300s in the coming weeks.
I really don’t understand why everybody is celebrating here.. please somebody explain. I understand this makes sense when playing music, than again multiroom grouping is a very basic thing to do with Sonos. But when it comes to tv sound, as long as Sonos doesn’t give you what is described here as „paring as a unit“, it doesn’t make sense to group additional speakers in the same room. adding a stereo pair in the front and pairing it to the setup doesn’t just bring the channel separation out of balance (the system simply doesn’t have an understanding of more components in the unit, the sound is just mirrored), it’s also almost impossible to not have a delay. So I don’t understand how all of you even subjectively come to the conclusion that it would sound better.. I always paired other „units“ to the surround unit in order to send the tv sound to another room. For example in order to hear the sound of a game when going to the toilet or grabbing a beer in the kitchen. You don’t recognize any delay doing that.. But grouping like proposed in this video..? For tv sound..? Come on now..
Oh and btw.. I would love if Sonos purposely actually implemented this so I could add my two fives to the surround unit in the front next to the arc. Up until then as sonos I would be outraged because of this video because a lot of people will have shitty sound not knowing that it’s actually not meant to be done like this
I did a video prior to this and, a priori, described why people would say it’s a bad idea … it’s an attempt to get a hint at what such a setup would be like … and the delay was not nearly as bad as I expected
In reality, Sonos don't work as good as you expect. Era100 and beam2 in stereo pair group always have a glitchy sound with cutoffs... i spent hours with support - no luck
I didn't like this explanation. What sounds do the stereo pair make in relation to the HT unit? Do they play all the surround elements? Do they attempt the base? Center channel? You needed to explain that relationship better.
I guess I understand. Since we're talking about it now, would you mind revealing in a sentence or two what to expect if you group extra channels with the HT?
@@seanorlando6375 you get more volume added to the HT setup, you would think that came with some cons but honestly the more sound with sonos speakers the better, it works very well. But the HT setup still only does the surround sound work because of the positioning and setup the added grouping just brings more sound because the added speakers display it without the HT setup, if you fine tune everything and pay attention to speaker placement the end verdict is it beats all competition that's not run through a avr
@@jeremiekey7379 I don't understand. For example, I'm watching a bluray uhd with dolby atmos on my "home cinema" sonos (Sonos arc + sub mini + two sonos one sl as rear surrounds) My question is : if I add, like this vidéo, two speakers sonos stereo in the front (right front and left front), what kind of sounds will play the two sonos stereo front ? I don't think it will play effect as it was a home cinema !

I have one arc, two one SL as rear and one sub gen 3
Now I want to use two era 300 as rear and move the two one SL to the front via grouping. Will that work???
I have the exact same question.
Have you figured it out?
Nope
Sonos community says there will be a delay while watching movies but no delay listening to songs
It's so crazy to me to think that a sophisticated system like Sonos can't or won't let this be a possibility. If they could get this figured out, there would be no competition against a system like this.
So can I un pair a couple of era 300s from the arc and subwoofer but group them together so both eras have Individual volume?
When playing with a group, won’t the Dolby audio from the TV be down-mixed to basic left and right stereo channels?
The stereo pair read atmos on the app. Keep in mind a single 300 is an atmos enabled speaker
@ cool. Thanks!
I just did exactly what you recommended. Grouped an extra pair of era 300 up front with the arc system w/ 2 subs and a pair of era 300 in the back. The sound is amazing. Thank you for your recommendation. Btw, what EQ and other settings do you have them on?
It varies based on my mood. I don’t completely recall … I think it’s really adjust to your taste and space kind of deal
Are the 300s to much for smaller and closer distance from the rears? For example next to couch.. do they need more distance for rears? For front im sure will add but will it still play atmos ?
not at all. put it left and right of your couch works even better@@prtbone78
The extra paired stereo 300s will play music exactly the same as if the Arc system were there or not. The Arc only integrated 2 300s
@@neverenoughtech thanks for the reply 😉
To be honest music is soooo much better on the stereo paired Era300s that I am considering just grouping 2 sets of stereo pairs and ditching the Arc and Sub completely.
It's seriously insane how hard it is to get 2added speakers working. I followed this guide 100% but can not get any audio from the back speakers. I work in IT and have delt with 100s of software's and this is by far the hardest to actually get working.
Can you group an Amazon show 15 with any Sonos speaker ?
RUclips offers up this video because I am searching how to work the app and configurations after I’ve moved and now have a different network. 😠
My first job is somehow to get the app to re-recognize my old SL’s and my new Arc, Beam, sub and mini sub (two different room setups). 🧐
Then, I can go through your video for those rooms.
Daniel, thank you for the reviews, they are very helpful. I need to buy a soundbar and would like to know if you are offering consultations. Please let me know how I can get in touch with you.
Would it be weird if I group a pair of 'One SL's with a pair of 'Era 100's? Would a second pair of speakers be a valuable addition?
No - it’ll work fine
hey! can you make a group using the eras only being front without the rears?
Yup
Great tutorial! But is there an option to control the volume of the entire group with an Apple tv remote?
No but an IKEA Symfonisk remote can
Does this setup supports Dolby Atmos or it's just upmixed sound to all speakers in the group?
The Dolby tag shows up when grouped so it’s supported at the very least to the arc system
I knew if I kept scrolling someone was going to ask!🎉
Hi can I add 2 Sonos sub gen 1? Cheers
Can I add the Sonos IKEA Speakers as rear speakers to my Sonos soundbar ?
Yes
Played around some more and you just have to find the right volume level split between the Arc and the 300s and the rear surrounds do not vanish. It all works remarkably well together. Can’t imagine anyone needing more than this for HT.
What a great video! It was exactlt what i was looking for!. Sonos should make a pairing system less complicated definitely
Do you use the arcana to get dolby atmos sound from your projector or has it a dedicated port in this particular setup?
Well the projector has eARC … but I own the arcana and it works … though a bit beta
Maybe it's an interesting thing for you to test or maybe you already have insights?
hi thanks for the clear info I need to know I can make all this configurationy my Mac mini or in my MacBook Pro ?
Well you can group (multiroom) pre-existing pairings but you will need to make the pairings using iOS or Android
Those this setup still work with the new arc ultra ?
Yup
When the Era 300 rear speakers are not part of the Home Theatre (playing television rear audio), can they be used as traditional (non-rear) Sonos speakers and play music with Dolby Atmos or another audio source (non-television)?
Yes you can play Dolby Atmos from a single Era300 or 300 stereo pair or 300 stereo pair with sub … any arrangement of era 300 can play Dolby Atmos music through the integrated Apple Music and spatial audio via Amazon music
what sonos app to download? for nubeez?
Does this still work with the new app update? I am very tempted to add front era300 pair 😅
What are the downsides and painful aspects of doing this
I’m in too much pain to even look at the app these days - but what I showed off is very fundamental to Sonos ecosystem so yes it is possible (assuming the app is behaving)
Does it work for atmos still on the home theater paired with the two fronts in a group?
Everything reads atmos if the source is atmos
2:13 also for Beam 2 with Move 2?
Hmm, if anyone is still following this thread. I'm thinking I should put the Pair E300s in front, as a stereo pair, and use the Pair OneSLs as the surrounds. Hesitant to get into this, with the new "S3" app., lol.
Thanks Heaps. Great video.
Thanks!
can u add 2 sonos one gen 2, 2 era 300, 1 sub and 1 arc? If this combination is possible, what is the best configuration?
You can only pair two surrounds to the Arc. You can group as many other speakers as you want … just like you would multiroom. I would pair the era 300s
Nice video and thanks a lot, please can you change the volume only for the the two era 300 in front without change all other ?
Well yes in the Sonos app. They are a separate grouping just as if they were in a different room
@@neverenoughtech Thanks fort this great help
Can you help me understand why my Sonos Era 100s paired seem to always go out of sync? I'll have to stop the music then push play to get it back into sync with each other.. I feel like I never had this issue with my previous ones.
I haven’t had that issue. Have you tried in pairing and removing - or removing from network and then set them back up? - that’s what I would do first
Could you guide me? My Sonos device always disconnects, I get the message that it cannot find the devices and I have to do the tedious process of pairing them, then it works without a problem but a few days later they disconnect again. Any recommendation?
Never had this problem … first try a product factory reset … then I would call Sonos if it’s still happening. They can diagnose at the network level
Incredibly video! subscribed
Do you get any delay in audio when watching tv?
If you’re talking about the grouped pair …. Very slight and can be fixed with an sync and or making the front pair is a bit softer than the arc system
Hi daniel I have the Sonos ark with Sonos one, will the era 100 make a huge diffrence to my listening pleasure?
My full answer Part 2: Arc, Era 100, Era 300, Five, HomePods (Home Theater Performance)
ruclips.net/video/xsbbz_mnXD4/видео.html
Short answer if you have the ones already and have an exciting re-use plan for the ones, sure update. Starting from scratch going with the 100s is a no brainer. The provide a moderate but noticeable upgrade over the ones
Can you do this with the one SL's too? for stereo pair front and era 300 for rears?
Of course … I just thought the 300s was the most fun. You can group any speaker pairs you want. To the arc system
Hey friend, is this complete setup configured... can I add 2 Sonos One SL to the home theater set for side effects? Thanks you videos
You can group another stereo pair but not add to the HT pairing as it supports only up to 5 components
@@neverenoughtech I understand! But... what could a Sonos Amp offer to the team? Guy, "I will treasure this video. Very grateful."
@@tuareg67I know a few custom installers that have had fun with multiple amp groupings for home theater setups.
Can I pair ARC with 1 era 100 to can adjust volume with the remote tv?
No, you can only pair 2. You can group 1 100 but the Tv remote won’t adjust the 100. But you can turn up both at the same time with the Sonos app
@@neverenoughtech thank you . Is there any solution in my case ( 1 era+1arc ) to adjust the volume with the tv remote ?
I’m new to hifi-in-home and only messed around with a little car-stereo…
I start pay attention to Sonos.
@@neverenoughtech ERA100’s it is…along with a secoundhand Beam2 and a refurbish/demo/outlet Gen3 w/full warrenty. The100’s i picked up today,and there’s gonna be an xmas here soon when the bar’n sub arrive by mail😉
The 100’s does not enjoy music as much as a movie i can tell for sure. Have u notice some decend of bass during the three last steps on top volume? Like ther’s a software that prevends clipping(?) on high volume….just saying
Hi, can i use sonos 5 as the front in the same set up.
I love music as well as movies. I believe the 5 a better for music
Of course
Hi
Thanks I new there must be a way to add fronts sonos say it don't work but clearly does.
I am looking to add the fronts not sure if I should go with the 5 or just get another pair for era 300.
I know when the 5 get add the low end will just go to the sub so just unsure have your hear this set up and what with U do...
The arc is Dolby Atmos away will it add more with the effect when 300 for added
So confused so not much difference in price
Instead of 300's, can i group 2 sonos move to the bunch?
Yes … you can group anything … but you are stricter on pairing
thank you so much for this Vedio. the best.
Can you add a single 300 to the front with Beam2 to get upward sound during movies.
You can group as many speakers as you want with the beam. You can only pair surrounds and sub
@@neverenoughtech Thanks, I'll give it a try and see if it adds the upward Atmos sound to the Beam 2.
Great video 👍
Thanks!

This is ALL your fault. I resisted the first Sonos video, but fell victim to this second video. Ordered the Sonos speaker stands for the two front channels yesterday and will be adding the 300s in the coming weeks.

PS - I moved you 1 sub closer to 20k.

holy crap, talk about immersive... just have to put the 300's about 10% lower volume to kill the reverb effect

You are unhappy with the scope. I didn’t want to scope this video that big. Wanted it short and sweet
Is your system still working with this stupid 80.0 update app thats not working.. which is pissing me off
Yes
My system can’t be found since the latest update. Only my arc is playing thru the tv.
A poor explanation I couldn’t follow, too fast and not enough information.
