Nah genuinely this show has one of the best, if not, the best choregraphed fighting scenes I've ever laid my eyes on, and genuinely my favourite anime right now. Season 1 is definitely really good in providing a base for what the shows about, the movie solidifies some questions of season 1, and season 2 is absolutely magnificent in story telling and every episode is like watching a movie!!!!!
The “Ryoumen” in the title means “two faces”, you can understand it as “Two faced Sukuna”. (That’s also part of the reason why after Idatori ate the finger, two more eyes popped up on his face, cause that curse literally has two faces with two more eyes) Fushiguro summoned the dogs with the dog shape hand shadow as sign, later he made a bird shape hand shadow trying to summon something else, but was stopped by that monster. It’s the same power but with different Shikigami, using different hand shadows as triggers
He was not setting JJK up. He said in *his* opinion, JJK is up there with AOT and yk I agree. AOT & JJK never bored me but ofc most of the people will not agree to this take..
Big up to Rivas for keeping up with you guys. You can see that anime or power fantasy isn't his go to watching style. If you guys were each a character in Attack on Titan I would say Biraj is Armin, very Keen in noticing what's going on. Rowan is Eren, loud ,willing to learn, but will throw everything away for good fight/ action scene. Rivas is Jean/Hange, he watches things from a simple human perspective, trying to understand the emotions and psychology of how others think. Ronnie you are "wont say name", but you that character that knows it all.

Obviously, they just watched their first anime which is AOT and OBVIOUSLY they will compare everything to this anime, and also, since they didn't get the experience of many other anime, they will be biased. It's okay. Especially because their first anime was Aot = high standards. I also started watching anime only like 5 months ago and I've already seen around 8 anime and a few anime movies, but i already can say that every manga/anime is good in its own way. Some ppl love drama, romance etc. so they will tell those types of anime are the best, while they might think Aot, jjk, mha etc is bad, and vice versa. It's just their perspective and preferences. So, until they tried different anime they obviously will be biased. And that's also totally fine. Anyway, lot's of yapping, hopefully you got what I was trying to say. My big 4 anime so far are AOT, JJK, MHA, DS. You just started what's IMO is the best action/fighting anime in a long while ! While season 1 is already really good, S2 is just slap after slap x) Never saw Solo Leveling, so I won't compare, but it has tough competition right now x)
Jujutsu kaisen is a fun anime/manga to experience for the action and fight scenes. Not exactly the best story, but definitely one of my favorites just cause the action. But in no world is jjk anywhere close to AOT. There are so many anime and manga that would easily change your opinion on your list.

This show is GOATd but please watch the blu-ray version of season two if you can. The animators got rushed for the regular release but a lot of it was finished and polished for the blu-ray, very worth it IMO.
Awesome that you guys are watching this, i discovered the channel recently and have been binging the AoT reactions, this is up there in my top 3 along with AoT and Hunter x Hunter (another great, would love to see reactions to that one day, it has a much slower pace though has some of the greatest arcs in all of anime)

JJk is like fast food compared to aot, but its that rlly good fast food yk, like that one place you keep ordering from even though its fast food lol. Season 2 is even better

All these animes are overrated. jjk season 1 is okkayish! Movie and season 2 and 3 omg yess it was damn good. Same with demon slayers. But i feel like y'all will love demon slayers or chainsaw man more thn solo leveling or jjk. Nothing can top aot tho!!
I think they would enjoy JJK waaay more than Demon Slayer but I agree with Chainsawman. It's special and nothing like other shows. Its cinematic is on a different level and the characters are unique and different too at least compared to Demon Slayer and JJK But Gojo still the GOAT 🐐

Yeah people can put JJK over AOT even in terms of story. I love AoT but I didn’t make me become MLK or Ghandi, I am not making any real action to stop war, neither you will. But JJK teach me how to overcome difficulties and accept death, and that impact my every day life. So I don’t think it’s a hot take to put JJK over or next to AOT, just because theirs no political intrigues like people are saying.

Just know that, at the end of the day, this is all subjective, which is why I disagree when someone says that an individual work is objectively better than any other, because there is no such thing:
Vagabond, Berserk, Oyasumi punpun, Kokou no hito/The Climber, Monster, 20th Century Boys, JOJO’s, Haikyuu, Neon genesis, One Piece, Death Note, HXH, Love is War, Re: Zero, Mushoku Tensei, Fire Punch, Frieren, Vinland Saga, Tokyo Ghoul manga, Magi, Fate series, FMAB, BLAME!, Made in Abyss and more. These are just the ones that are at the top of my head right now.
The more you consume stuff, if you want to grow, the more you’ll realize how the culmination of all these series build into each other, and that it shouldnt solely be looked at as a competition. Art is art. Yes, there are bad art and good art. And yes, it also depends on the context. All these animes are overrated. jjk season 1 is okkayish! Movie and season 2 and 3 omg yess it was damn good. Same with demon slayers. But i feel like y'all will love demon slayers or chainsaw man more thn solo leveling or jjk. Nothing can top aot tho!!
I think they would enjoy JJK waaay more than Demon Slayer but I agree with Chainsawman.
It's special and nothing like other shows. Its cinematic is on a different level and the characters are unique and different too at least compared to Demon Slayer and JJK

@Tarismes Gojo is definitely the goat. Infact i was ony watching jjk for gojo lol😂 ofcourse i loved the movie and shibuya arc. I THInk you're right after season 1 they will able to enjoy jjk properly especially the twist and turns. About chainsawman hands down, it was really good

I love AoT but I didn’t make me become MLK or Ghandi, I am not making any real action to stop war, neither you will.
But JJK teach me how to overcome difficulties and accept death, and that impact my every day life.
So I don’t think it’s a hot take to put JJK over or next to AOT, just because theirs no political intrigues like people are saying.
