Helped me through it. I just hope these guys spend less time trying to make corny jokes during serious moments like they did during erens moms death and take in the seriousness of the story and dive into it

I don't think new AOT reactors understand how important it is to get a comment moderator. People WILL a 100% ruin the show with spoilers if you allow them and this show is spoiler-heavy (unlike most shows) since its in mystery genre.

Oh you’re in for an incredible journey if you stay open minded. By end of season three, it became my favourite animated series. And from start of season four to its end, became my favourite series of all time, live action included (and I loved Breaking Bad, the Wire, the Sopranos, etc). Thought provoking, challenging, philosophical, and through its sheer brutality, forces you to reflect on our own world and ethics, and ways to make it better. Absolute masterpiece

The writter itself made this mastermind. You will see something so WELL WRITTEN that the experience itself of seeing how the history is told is worthy. But this serie excel where all of the other fails. I like how they show violence, but not in a grotesque way like the boys, it is there, and that is it. It shows drama, but the same way, it is there, it is happening, but nothing like everyone playing hero and get the things done (like Hannes being afraid of a 15 meters giant, it is natural TBH). He just wrote the history in a way that "things happen" instead "things should happen this way"
The best thing about anime is that it covers many genres and should never be pigeonholed as something for kids. There's always a gateway anime that will appeal to someone and introduce one to the vast world of what anime has to offer. Just so happens you start with a once in a generation series like AOT. One of the best stories around.
Fun fact : Carla (the mother) told Eren that her legs were crushed by the rubble but when the titan picks her up you can see her kicking her legs while struggling, she lied because she wanted Eren and Mikasa to leave her because she knew they couldn't save her

this isn't a show you can watch without using your brain and just watch for action. Every moment in this show is really important, you need to actively watch or else you wouldn't understand shit.

Guys you are NOT ready. This is for sure one of the greatest stories ever told and it was all made up by just one person. It's meant to be a full 360 storie, well thought and perfectly structured, cause the author was the only one knowing since the first episode how it will end. AOT and Death Note were my first two anime that I fell in love with. Now I try to keep up with seasonal anime

Guys you are NOT ready. This is for sure one of the greatest stories ever told and it was all made up by just one person. It's meant to be a full 360 storie, well thought and perfectly structured, cause the author was the only one knowing since the first episode how it will end.
((We can compare this scenario-story-telling with harry potter, being jkrowling the only one who knew the end since the first written sentence of the first book)).

So as this is my favorite series of all times and this is a brand new reaction ill do the obligatory setup for everyone that people give.
1. AVOID EVERYTHING in comments and messages people are assholes and will try to spoiler everything, get a mod or just don't look at anything.
2. All questions will be answers if you feel like it overloaded wirh em and tired of it have no fear.
3. If you are cinfused on something that is revealed i would try and get someone who knows the show well enough, and you trust to not spoil it and explain it to ya.
4.if you do not see "to be continued" at the end ther WILL be something extra at the credits.
5. The mid show cards are fairly important as they give expanded explanations in things in the show.
6. And kinda the most important while this very very highly regarded as one of the best stories out there of all time, it is still very much okay to not like it, don't force youself, or anything like just appease people.
But other than that im super excited for you all to start this journey, it will be quite the wild ride for sure, but one thay i hope you all throughly enjoy.
