A lot of people always say anime is cringe until they watch and hear the stories then you realize how unique these stories are I use to not like anime and now I’m a huge anime nerd

@nareksilisalata fax I gotta sharingan and crows tatted on my hand and and captain Levi and commander erwen tatted on my whole upper arm and I got into anime just 3 for years ago during a tough period of my life. Helped me through it. I just hope these guys spend less time trying to make corny jokes during serious moments like they did during erens moms death and take in the seriousness of the story and dive into it
AOT and Death Note were my first two anime that I fell in love with. Now I try to keep up with seasonal anime
4 real a lot of anime is cringe, as same as a lot of movies and any art at all, u just need to give a chance to the story and try to understand, what autor try to show you
@@dimalyubchenko2918 I think the issue is the memes you see online. The weird part of anime that is. And in the 90’s and 2000’s a lot of anime was targeted at kids.

I don't think new AOT reactors understand how important it is to get a comment moderator. People WILL a 100% ruin the show with spoilers if you allow them and this show is spoiler-heavy (unlike most shows) since its in mystery genre.

Animation is a medium for telling stories, just like film, theater, audio, books, comics, and other forms. Each medium has its advantages. Just a heads up, AOT is one of the deepest stories in terms of lore and plot you will ever see so keep paying attention like you were this episode because this show gets real deep real quick. Also they like to dangle a lot of things in front of you and make you want to know more, and the answers may take a while, but they WILL come. Oh you’re in for an incredible journey if you stay open minded. By end of season three, it became my favourite animated series. And from start of season four to its end, became my favourite series of all time, live action included (and I loved Breaking Bad, the Wire, the Sopranos, etc). Thought provoking, challenging, philosophical, and through its sheer brutality, forces you to reflect on our own world and ethics, and ways to make it better. Absolute masterpiece
Yall in for a mf ride. Please enjoy the greatest work of fiction ever created. I’d give a kidney if I could watch this show for the first time again.

Pay attention to every detail; the dialogue, the incredible music, the mid title cards; everything.

Fun fact : Carla (the mother) told Eren that her legs were crushed by the rubble but when the titan picks her up you can see her kicking her legs while struggling, she lied because she wanted Eren and Mikasa to leave her because she knew they couldn't save her

this just popped up in my feed, if you guys decide to watch this, a lot of people will be in for the ride. the show isn't for kids.
The writter itself made this mastermind.
You will see something so WELL WRITTEN that the experience itself of seeing how the history is told is worthy.
But this serie excel where all of the other fails.
I like how they show violence, but not in a grotesque way like the boys, it is there, and that is it. It shows drama, but the same way, it is there, it is happening, but nothing like everyone playing hero and get the things done (like Hannes being afraid of a 15 meters giant, it is natural TBH).
He just wrote the history in a way that "things happen" instead "things should happen this way"
Best written show I've ever seen in my life...anime is on another tier than most shows if you watch the right ones.

The show has so many plot twist and things you would never expect to happen especially in season two

This is my favorite piece of media and my favorite story. Ever. I read books. I watch movies and shows since i can remember. None tops this. Just be regultar. And AVOID spoilers at ALL cast, as if this were Avengers Infinity War.

15:14 As someone who loves both Avatar and Attack on Titan, I can confidently say that there is a lot in common between the two shows. Both follow a group of kids as they navigate the harsh reality of war. That's the only comparison that I can give for now without spoiling anything, but I have a LIST. If you enjoyed Avatar, you're definitely going to enjoy Attack on Titan.

I was an anime hater for 24 years of my life...then my husband at the time made me agree to watch one anime with him to see if it was as bad as I remember (the only anime I ever saw as a kid was a few episodes of Dragonball and Naruto, both of which involved so much screaming...). I agreed, and he changed my entire outlook. I have watched 96 anime since then and still going. 😅

Well yeah some parts of this show kinda reminds me of Game of Thrones but since the comic has been out there since 2010, then Game of Thrones might have had used AOT as references
this isn't a show you can watch without using your brain and just watch for action. Every moment in this show is really important, you need to actively watch or else you wouldn't understand shit.

Attack on Titan is up there with The Wire, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad as top serialized cinema. It easily surpassed Game of Thrones (season 1-4; not the rest when it started going awry), and is probably tied with The Wire as my 1a and 1b best shows of all time.

If you had any ill conceived notions of anime, this is the one to break them all. Honestly its the best anime to watch without an anime mind. Stay away from spoils, this story is amazing. The best part about reactions are seeing the theories etc. Enjoy the journey, I enjoyed the take so far lookin forward to future reactions =D Just a tip, in this anime, NOTHING is a mistake. Things youve already seen are relevant in the last season, last episodes. Storytelling 12/10 char development 15/10 Voice acting 20/10. I shed more tears for Eren's mom than I did for 85% of my Ex's.

The best thing about anime is that it covers many genres and should never be pigeonholed as something for kids. There's always a gateway anime that will appeal to someone and introduce one to the vast world of what anime has to offer. Just so happens you start with a once in a generation series like AOT. One of the best stories around.
I always think of animation as story telling without limitations 🤷♀️ can be more action packed or violet than tv shows/movies because of that
