I have been diagnosed with 3 types of anxiety. Social anxiety is one of them. I was never able to look anyone in the eye, I couldn't carry conversation, I was afraid of crowds, and I didnt like talking to others outside of my family. I've been listening to this for about two months and it has changed my life completely. I have gotten so much better with socializing. I'm no longer afraid to talk to people. Thank you so much!!!

@@Zabideen97 as something you can do in the meantime, look up overactive amygdala and amygdala hijack. Knowing what is happening internally helps you separate it from your 'personality'. Knowing it is not your fault or your choice, but a result of something outside of your control let's it become a simple medical issue to be addressed. This separation can be very useful as it lets you get your hands around the problem, rather than it having it's hands around you.

I’m 6 days into this and I’m already feeling the difference. Lockdown definitely did have an impact on me socially and now that’s going out the window. First week was hard doing this as I was going through the healing phase and it felt like something inside me was fighting. You’ve just got to persist and get through it. I’ve been listening to this for a while now my social anxiety’s quite bad but I’ve recently started my first job even though lots of them have mentioned I’m quiet I feel like it’s helping me speak more than I could’ve before at least I’ll keep listening thank you :)
I can not recommend this enough. I listened to it for about an hour last night when I was half asleep, and there's a Huge difference. I felt a lot more comfortable at work, it was easier to talk to the customers, it's a lot easier to control my fidgeting, and I didn't get mad when I came home and my boyfriend had unannounced company over. Idk why that last one bothers me, unless it's just my anxiety. I work in retail so usually my social battery is Dead by the end of the day.

I just started listening to this last night and I could feel the energy shifting as your words came at me. I woke up 3 or 4 times and as listened to your words a couple times I felt tears coming up a couple times. This is such a deep seeded wound that has highjacked my whole life. Its made friendships hard, relationships hard and really being able to live my purpose. Ive just became aware this is from trauma and its not me like i thought it was all my life what a relief that is! Thats the first step in change I truly feel that. Im a Akashic Record reader and I want to share some advice they gave me yesterday on this topic. They said this is a trauma based responce that stems from me growing up in choas & also passed down through my ansestral lines. I grew up with alot of addiction with constant parties around me. They said it served me me very well when I was small it kept me safe at key times growing up. Its a survival mechanism that can be released through telling my mind/body & lymbic system I no longer need to be kept safe from social situations. Its a safety mechanism Ive outgrown and is time to release. They told me to sit in meditation and repeat the mantra: I am safe now I no longer need to hide I can protect myself All is love all is well I now release this old way of being And invite in new social aspects to my being I wish to connect with others And feel great & impowered when doing so So it is So it is So it is They also recommended a few sessions of shamanic soul retrieval. Very simple yet profoundly powerful just go back to the event in meditation feel the event as fully as you can using as many sences as possibly and change the outcome to one youd prefer. Itll change the energetic imprint the event has on your life. Then they said to go out and meet people in a heart centered way of being and this will attract my soul tribe. I hope this helps somebody. I just want to say that your channel has been the best blessing in my life. It is by FAR the BEST meditations I have ever used because they are so soothing and help so much. I had nightmare disorder, which is when you grow up but don't grow out of night terrors. No medication my entire life has ever helped. But meditation has helped some, though it's been a hit-and-miss with them. But this has worked every single time! I am 22 and am sleeping nightmare free for the first time in my whole life!

I've had social anxiety for years and general anxiety. I used to combat it with drugs and alcohol, but they only make it worse after. I'm at the point of turning back to alcohol. I feel like I'm going to explode when people talk to me.. I start sweating and burning up and get confused and can't think what to say. Then I go home and beat myself up about the encounter. Anyway, I tried this all night last night while I slept and today was a better day.. I haven't felt anxious and didn't want to doe when I was speaking with people. I'll continue every night. If this works ill be forever grateful. Thank you

This made me realize that although SA has made my life very miserable sometimes and I so badly want to get rid of it, part of me is scared to change. It has become such a familiar thing, such a part of my identity now, that sometimes it’s comforting just to wallow in the shame it creates. So I have to be willing to change, and I want to. I’m gonna start listening to this as a step towards change and releasing the social anxiety.

I just now found this page and already I’m hopeful that this might work from what I read in the comments. I have had many types of anxiety since I was literally in pre-k and it’s because of trauma and who I lived with, but I’m hoping now that I’m finally in a stable place, I can change my ways and become more confident! Especially knowing schools coming around I don’t want to be known as the awkward quiet kid again

Thank you so much for this! I’ve listed to other sleep meditations by you and by others, but this one really affected me in an interesting way. Listening to this was actually kind of tuff. I had some resistance to the very 1st affirmations, the ones that say “you are now willing…” It felt like they were suggesting that I had been unwilling to change something that I’d actually been trying ( using my WILL) to change my whole life. It felt like it was suggesting I was just that way because I chose to be. It felt like criticism, like tuffness where I needed tenderness and love. I kept listening and it brought me back to the old days in school when I couldn’t eat in front of people, dance in front of people, I didn’t know what to do with my body just walking down the hall. Listening to this affected my dreams. I can remember one dream that was kind of tuff, but I feel it was still really healing. When I would wake up in the night I would feel extremely vulnerable, (like “Oh no, oh no, oh no!”) and have the strong need to hold somebody’s hand. Luckily I was able to actually hold on to someone’s hand, but when he would let go, to use the bathroom, or for any reason it was hard for me to experience that disconnect. Listening to this, I feel, was a purging experience. It brought up what needed to be brought to the surface in order to release. I woke up in the morning feeling more at peace, more gentle with my self, in the inner space were I would normally feel anxiety. That was after the 1st night. I’m going to keep listening. I have a suggestion, if it's possible could you add the sentence "You release all fear of going out" beside the "You release all fear of going to work / school"? So it can be a more general affirmation that can fit into different social situations, like going out for a walk or with friends, etc... and not just work or school. I have social anxiety. I have trouble talking over the phone but I can do it without some difficulty - a video call is a no-no. I got a freelance job that lets me do everything online or without video but I am afraid they will add me to meetings - I don't want to quit just because of social anxiety and it is so hard to find work when you can't talk to people without freezing up, esp with authority figures. Listening to this to help me in case that does happen. I have cognitive therapy exercises and it was not enough. I do think affirmations can help to change our mindset.Worth a try!!

Most people just listen to it for the first hour or 2 of sleeping and then again as they are waking up, however, many of us (including me) listen to them more often than that e.g. when going for a walk, taking a bath, cooking dinner, as we get ready in the morning. Hi Jess, my 2 kids and I love your tracks, they got my 12yr son through bullying a few years ago with the self love track. he loves falling asleep now to Health, wealth and happiness ❤ I'd love some advice for my 9yr daughter... she is a beautiful crazy, funny, free spirit at home, at school she is quiet and shy - her friends even tell her this. she even feels shy around family she hasn't seen for a while. I believe she's an introvert like me, and I tell her quiet isn't bad. But she's so easily embarrassed by any attention and worries what others think. She feels friends don't listen to her when she does try to join conversation. I get the sense she feels on the outer. @IcePanda ive pretty much beaten social anxiety but it wasnt really cuz of affirmations i just had to put myself out there and i ultimately had to accept myself and stuff theres alot to it but ive beaten it for the most part i still need to fix a few things by the end of the year i should fixed for good

I'm a very sceptic person. Is this one of these things that only work because you believe in it? Like placebo? Cuz that has never worked on me. Gonna give it a try. Been having mad anxiety all my life. Social anxiety and just anxiety for everything almost. I just wanna be able to feel normal again and have friends and not isolate myself in my room all day feeling nervous and jumpy for no reason
Social anxiety also comes from specific believes. With affirmations you are able to replace those with believes that are serving you. Through experiences/trauma the mind got programmed in a way and it became your identity. Repeating affirmations is a great way to rewrite subconscious believes. It works for sure when you do it long enough. It's like getting an update for your operating system on your computer.
Everyone is different. Some people see shifts after a week, for others it takes longer. What I can say though is that this track is a powerful tool that will catalyst your healing and enable extraordinary transformation. Do I need to listen for whole 8 hours or will it work if I only listen to it for like 30 minutes I don't know what issue I have I don't have any fear in public and I am most talkative in the class but only when I am talking to more than 2 people during one on one conversation I always think what should I say next and my conversations doesn't go with flow do u think it will work for that

Ive had it my whole life and one of the reasons was because other people step in like if Im at a bar and just in general. Their friends might drag them away or they might have a boyfriend or embarrass me, its just a big fear. Also Ive never really gotten into relationships because I know that sometimes people get in arguments in relationships so I just stay away from them. I can explain more if you need. Does that make any sense?
You're wrong. You don't have to think of yourself as awkward. When you feel like you're in an awkward situation you can choose to be like,"Yknow what? It's only awkward because I choose to see it that way. I don't have to feel that way about myself anymore."
social skills still have to be learned. social anxiety has stopped that from being able to happen for you. you will be awkward at first. loss of social anxiety means you are not afraid to go through those learning experiences and be awkward. don't focus on how you did this time. focus on what you know to do better next time. always keep focus on the future when analyzing yourself. that way there is no failure unless you simply do not try.

I have been diagnosed with 3 types of anxiety. Social anxiety is one of them. I was never able to look anyone in the eye, I couldn't carry conversation, I was afraid of crowds, and I didnt like talking to others outside of my family. I've been listening to this for about two months and it has changed my life completely. I have gotten so much better with socializing. I'm no longer afraid to talk to people. Thank you so much!!!

@@Zabideen97 as something you can do in the meantime, look up overactive amygdala and amygdala hijack. Knowing what is happening internally helps you separate it from your 'personality'. Knowing it is not your fault or your choice, but a result of something outside of your control let's it become a simple medical issue to be addressed. This separation can be very useful as it lets you get your hands around the problem, rather than it having it's hands around you.

I’m 6 days into this and I’m already feeling the difference. Lockdown definitely did have an impact on me socially and now that’s going out the window. First week was hard doing this as I was going through the healing phase and it felt like something inside me was fighting. You’ve just got to persist and get through it. Well done to you all taking the initiative to do this inner work. It makes the world of a difference

I can not recommend this enough. I listened to it for about an hour last night when I was half asleep, and there's a Huge difference. I felt a lot more comfortable at work, it was easier to talk to the customers, it's a lot easier to control my fidgeting, and I didn't get mad when I came home and my boyfriend had unannounced company over. Idk why that last one bothers me, unless it's just my anxiety. I work in retail so usually my social battery is Dead by the end of the day.

I just started listening to this last night and I could feel the energy shifting as your words came at me. I woke up 3 or 4 times and as listened to your words a couple times I felt tears coming up a couple times. This is such a deep seeded wound that has highjacked my whole life. Its made friendships hard, relationships hard and really being able to live my purpose. Ive just became aware this is from trauma and its not me like i thought it was all my life what a relief that is! Thats the first step in change I truly feel that. Im a Akashic Record reader and I want to share some advice they gave me yesterday on this topic. They said this is a trauma based responce that stems from me growing up in choas & also passed down through my ansestral lines. I grew up with alot of addiction with constant parties around me. They said it served me me very well when I was small it kept me safe at key times growing up. Its a survival mechanism that can be released through telling my mind/body & lymbic system I no longer need to be kept safe from social situations. Its a safety mechanism Ive outgrown and is time to release. They told me to sit in meditation and repeat the mantra:
I am safe now
I no longer need to hide
I can protect myself
All is love all is well
I now release this old way of being
And invite in new social aspects to my being
I wish to connect with others
And feel great & impowered when doing so

They also recommended a few sessions of shamanic soul retrieval. Very simple yet profoundly powerful just go back to the event in meditation feel the event as fully as you can using as many sences as possibly and change the outcome to one youd prefer. Itll change the energetic imprint the event has on your life. Then they said to go out and meet people in a heart centered way of being and this will attract my soul tribe.

I just want to say that your channel has been the best blessing in my life. It is by FAR the BEST meditations I have ever used because they are so soothing and help so much. I had nightmare disorder, which is when you grow up but don't grow out of night terrors. No medication my entire life has ever helped. But meditation has helped some, though it's been a hit-and-miss with them. But this has worked every single time! I am 22 and am sleeping nightmare free for the first time in my whole life!

I've had social anxiety for years and general anxiety. I used to combat it with drugs and alcohol, but they only make it worse after. I'm at the point of turning back to alcohol. I feel like I'm going to explode when people talk to me.. I start sweating and burning up and get confused and can't think what to say. Then I go home and beat myself up about the encounter. Anyway, I tried this all night last night while I slept and today was a better day.. I haven't felt anxious and didn't want to doe when I was speaking with people. I'll continue every night. If this works ill be forever grateful. Thank you

This made me realize that although SA has made my life very miserable sometimes and I so badly want to get rid of it, part of me is scared to change. It has become such a familiar thing, such a part of my identity now, that sometimes it’s comforting just to wallow in the shame it creates. So I have to be willing to change, and I want to. I’m gonna start listening to this as a step towards change and releasing the social anxiety.

Thank you so much for this! I’ve listed to other sleep meditations by you and by others, but this one really affected me in an interesting way. Listening to this was actually kind of tuff. I had some resistance to the very 1st affirmations, the ones that say “you are now willing…” It felt like they were suggesting that I had been unwilling to change something that I’d actually been trying ( using my WILL) to change my whole life. It felt like it was suggesting I was just that way because I chose to be. It felt like criticism, like tuffness where I needed tenderness and love. I kept listening and it brought me back to the old days in school when I couldn’t eat in front of people, dance in front of people, I didn’t know what to do with my body just walking down the hall. Listening to this affected my dreams. I can remember one dream that was kind of tuff, but I feel it was still really healing. When I would wake up in the night I would feel extremely vulnerable, (like “Oh no, oh no, oh no!”) and have the strong need to hold somebody’s hand. Luckily I was able to actually hold on to someone’s hand, but when he would let go, to use the bathroom, or for any reason it was hard for me to experience that disconnect. Listening to this, I feel, was a purging experience. It brought up what needed to be brought to the surface in order to release. I woke up in the morning feeling more at peace, more gentle with my self, in the inner space were I would normally feel anxiety. That was after the 1st night. I’m going to keep listening. I have a suggestion, if it's possible could you add the sentence "You release all fear of going out" beside the "You release all fear of going to work / school"?
So it can be a more general affirmation that can fit into different social situations, like going out for a walk or with friends, etc... and not just work or school. I think it would be such a strong affirmation in general.

I have social anxiety. I have trouble talking over the phone but I can do it without some difficulty - a video call is a no-no. I got a freelance job that lets me do everything online or without video but I am afraid they will add me to meetings - I don't want to quit just because of social anxiety and it is so hard to find work when you can't talk to people without freezing up, esp with authority figures. Listening to this to help me in case that does happen. I have cognitive therapy exercises and it was not enough. I do think affirmations can help to change our mindset.Worth a try!!

I'd love some advice for my 9yr daughter... she is a beautiful crazy, funny, free spirit at home, at school she is quiet and shy - her friends even tell her this. she even feels shy around family she hasn't seen for a while. I believe she's an introvert like me, and I tell her quiet isn't bad. But she's so easily embarrassed by any attention and worries what others think. I'm a very sceptic person. Is this one of these things that only work because you believe in it? Like placebo? Cuz that has never worked on me. Gonna give it a try. Been having mad anxiety all my life. Social anxiety and just anxiety for everything almost. I just wanna be able to feel normal again and have friends and not isolate myself in my room all day feeling nervous and jumpy for no reason

Social anxiety also comes from specific believes. With affirmations you are able to replace those with believes that are serving you. Through experiences/trauma the mind got programmed in a way and it became your identity. Repeating affirmations is a great way to rewrite subconscious believes. It works for sure when you do it long enough. It's like getting an update for your operating system on your computer.

Do I need to listen for whole 8 hours or will it work if I only listen to it for like 30 minutes I don't know what issue I have I don't have any fear in public and I am most talkative in the class but only when I am talking to more than 2 people during one on one conversation I always think what should I say next and my conversations doesn't go with flow do u think it will work for that

Ive had it my whole life and one of the reasons was because other people step in like if Im at a bar and just in general. Their friends might drag them away or they might have a boyfriend or embarrass me, its just a big fear. Also Ive never really gotten into relationships because I know that sometimes people get in arguments in relationships so I just stay away from them. I can explain more if you need. Does that make any sense?

You're wrong. You don't have to think of yourself as awkward. When you feel like you're in an awkward situation you can choose to be like,"Yknow what? It's only awkward because I choose to see it that way. I don't have to feel that way about myself anymore."
social skills still have to be learned. social anxiety has stopped that from being able to happen for you. you will be awkward at first. loss of social anxiety means you are not afraid to go through those learning experiences and be awkward. don't focus on how you did this time. focus on what you know to do better next time. always keep focus on the future when analyzing yourself. that way there is no failure unless you simply do not try.
