I just rode and explored around for a good few hours collecting the seductree fragments and the ash fragments. By the time I reached and tried the belurat tower, my fragments were at lvl 6 or 7. Those shadow dudes with the cleavers were doing one third of the damage to me what he was receiving. I maybe died at that area once. I know his style of playing is to get views and this is def entertaining. Personally, I couldn’t play a game where every few minutes I die. Plus I actually get to explore the entire area without dying.

Playing this DLC on a Jorney 6 character, got blasted by that Lion for a minute but managed to beat it on the release day. He is an amazing boss, but he really displays the evident camera issues that ER has with big enemies, when you are next to him it gets hard to see what exactly he is gonna do, and if you get close to a wall with him you cant even see him at all.

Omg chance I hope you're ready for this shit. Some of the bosses and enemies in this are insane. In fact, the guy on the cover of this DLC made me seriously contemplate uninstalling and going for a walk. Get as many scadutree fragments as you can. They are by those glowing crosses sticking out of the ground. (Miquella's Crosses)

So dumb boss. Cant see shit, trash hitboxes and delusional second phase. Fighting big bosses with dresses ist just not fun. Cool dlc because of the atmosphere and visual boss design but most bosses are not fun to fight. Comparing this to sekiro where even dying is fun reminds me of how much better sekiro in the core is.
Sekiro had the best, most well balanced combat of any game I’ve ever played, let alone for a fromsoft game. There are quite a few references to it in the dlc. Here’s hoping for a sequel.
