Live History India team, you are doing a great job by introducing these traditional arts to the present generation of Millenials. We all need to be aware and proud of the rich cultural heritage that India houses. I hope these intricate and historic art techniques never get lost in time.

MSSIDC at Paithanis doing a wonderful job of production as well as training of the weavers. Original silk paithani has a cultural history of Satwahanas. The grandeur, design and feel of a pure Paithani is an experience. Every Indian woman should have paithani in her collection. Do visit Paithan. It 's पैठण ची पैठणी !

Traditional Weaving communities do not find a mention by name....Its sad, as the weaving communities are ones who have preserved this craft...
