    Roman's thing is he feels comfort in the abuse. So when he can't get it through someone else, he goes to find it with the strangers outside. Dude bottled everything up and completely lost his entire position career wise because he mourned his father. Absolutely tragic.

    loved ewan’s speech, it’s the most honest thing anyone’s ever gonna say about logan, providing context to his personality without excusing his behavior. i think it’s absolutely the right time and right place, because where else would anyone be able to say it, especially in a show where everyone keeps saying “no he’s a good person actually,” even the children whose spirits he broke so thoroughly they’ve taken to stabbing each other on the back to try and fulfill a legacy he barely wanted them to have.
    also it’s such a great testament to the acting and the writing when they could show how disgusting roman can be in one episode and how sad he could be in the other. what a wonderfully complicated character.
    this episode, this season, and this show is definitely an all-timer!!

    Man, Frank is such an underrated character. I love how he's a genuine father figure to them. When he's telling Kendall that Logan's gone he calls him "son'. When Roman is going up for his eulogy, he asks "you alright, son?", of course Roman's an ass about it. And when Carl is laughing at Roman breaking down, Frank is clearly upset and annoyed that Carl would laugh at that

    The "you fucked it" from Kendall to Roman seems brutal in context within the episode, but that is exactly the kind of stuff Roman says to other people in their lowest moments. I feel sorry for him in the way anyone feels sorry for someone that is mourning, but what goes around comes around.

    Psychologists could have a field day regarding the Rose reveal. Yes, Logan's earliest memories may have been of war, death, and terror. But believing that he was responsible for his sister's death? Even accidentally? That is the worst thing that one could do. And he didn't do anything. He just was. He was...a killer. Beyond forgiveness or redemption. He might as well wrestle the cosmos so that he is the one directing the chaos that destroys the lives others instead of being just another victim. He may have loved Rose, so he cannot love anyone else, at least not with gentle closeness.

    Kendall is supposed to make you conflicted. Power corrupts all men and Kendall has been the most righteous sibling by far throughout the whole series. His relationship with Rava and his kids is complicated due to his own upbringing, but Kendall has consistently tried to be 'good' in any way that he knows... up until this season in spurts. The scenes with Rava and Jess are the straws that broke his back. Kendall looks back at the mausoleum after talking to Hugo in a way that suggests either him exorcising his demon in Logan, or channeling him completely. Final prediction is that Kendall ends up with Waystar and GoJo by winning over the board

Ken and Shiv are looking at Logan, Tom is looking at Shiv, Connor is looking out into the world (lol), Roman is looking at the camera… and Greg is looking at his own reflection in the window. Very telling I think!

    I don't think Mattson will put Shiv in the CEO role. He just said he could be good with an American CEO and I think he's stringing her along. It could be Tom or one of Mencken's guys. One theory I've seen going around is that Mattson will put Greg in that role so he can control him. It might be far-fetched but I wouldn't put anything past this show. And we still don't know everything that happened the night that Greg hung out with Mattson.

    • @SweetJeopardy
      @SweetJeopardy Год назад

      I don't think Mattson and Mencken would make a deal, but what could happen is that we get the actual election results and it turns out the other guy won so there wouldn't be a need for Mattson to have an American CEO therefore none of the Roys get anything.

    I should know by now not to try and predict what will happen in this show. That being said, I think Menken and Mattssen will forge a new alliance, teaming up to screw both Roman and Shiv respectively. Greg stressing to Menken that Tom was the one to call the election for him -- Menken will reward Tom by insisting that he be the American CEO, and Mattssen will go along with it because he wants Menken to approve the deal. Also, the qualities Shiv pitched to Mattssen for the CEO job described Tom, except that Tom in addition has the experience that Shiv lacks.

    • @smichelle65
