We recognized that gentlemen at 15:15, he was in our episode during our recording of OCTA 721 (Northbound). Unfortunately most of the OCTA buses that passes through Fullerton Park & Ride Station are contracted through First Transit. Thanks for sharing this video!
The Metropolitan Network Aside from routes 721 and 529 which you both filmed on your channel, all the other routes are based out of First Transit Anaheim Base. It’s worth noting that aside from route 26, all the other contracted routes have frequencies of 40-50 minutes
We noticed that Route 35 is almost about every 40 min. We actually recorded this transit center back in February (During the 1st day of Bravo 529 operation) that we have been wanting to upload. Great coverage ⭐️
That guy was me! (Lol, kidding) But in all seriousness, awesome video. I love the variety of C40LFR's from different fleet numbers (55's 56's and 75's) and paint jobs (some units had the original livery still with the logos and skirt/no skirt, others had the logos removed and replaced with OCBus logos while still retaining the stripes and then were those that were repainted to the current OCBus livery)
No doubt about it, Anaheim Base has a diverse fleet of C40LFRs! It was interesting for C40LFRs to have worn all three (technically four) different paint jobs: the original, the “hybrid” scheme, the newer OC Bus scheme, and finally the Bravo! scheme. It was interesting to see how many of the Near Zero-powered C40LFRs dominated the video, including 7529, 5675, and 5768, which were the first to be delivered with the ISL-G, hence the skirt at the bottom. As I mentioned in yesterday’s video, 7591 and 5806 were also seen here.
@@ocbusfan Yup, saw them both, I also saw 7584, which on Wendsday was my ride home (took the 529 then the 56 home instead of taking the 60, getting off on Newland and walking home), plus It did the after school 560 run last bid. 7529 was the first with the ISL-G and its actually older than some 55/56 buses. For the later 56's (5675-5678), they were built before or around the same time as the later 75 (7530-7592). You also see 7501, the first 75 hundred in the series.
Alex Espinoza In addition, I was also lucky to catch 5551, one of the newest members of the Bravo! fleet. I have yet to see 5552 on any of the Bravo! routes
@@ocbusfan I've seen and ridden both, 5552 has a 3 slot bike rack and is as of right now the only Bravo! bus to have one. I think the last time I saw it was on the 560. I've also ridden 5551 before it was repainted to the Bravo livery but around that time, was doing Bravo! routes
Alex Espinoza That also reminded me of a time, not long after the February schedule change, that I saw and rode 5568 on route 560, with a hybrid OC Bus paint scheme

The Metropolitan Network Actually route 35 has a peak frequency of 20 minutes in the morning and afternoons and 40 minutes the rest of the day

Not at all! Watching buses come in and out is actually entertaining for me, especially since there would be buses coming every few minutes
