@@TiinanASMR there is a city called Thunder Bay in northern Ontario and there are about 15,000 Finnish people living in or around it. I think so many settled there because it reminded them of home. :)

I have been living in Finland for a couple of months now, and I am shocked at how everyone and everywhere I go people speak very well English! Since I am trying to learn Finnish, I am always telling them puhutan suomeaaaa kiiiiitos 😅
😁 We've been studying English since we were children, so it's really desirable that every Finn knows even the basics of it 😁 it's really great that you speak Finnish, even if you're just learning it! Many don't dare to do it because, well, in Finland they usually do quite well with that English as Well 🤷
I agree with everyone saying your English is great! Truly, you're better than you think you are. Also, you have such a relaxing voice. When my husband and I first got together, we visited Helsinki (he lived in Sweden at the time), and we fell in love. We were not there long, but it was such a memorable place with incredibly kind people. Also if you make more English videos, I can say I'd definitely watch them. However, I also plan to now check out some of your Finnish content as well!

Even though the language is common, doesn't mean it is any easier to one who's native language is totally different.
