Absolutely brilliant. My favourite was the first. I agree with you about how good the effect of tearing is. I would love a masculine card tutorial. I also love the scrap buster cards.

@@lucypatrick I think because it’s a struggle to find inspiration. I know for me it is. I struggle to make cards for my dad and FIL (both in their 70s). Younger bday cards are a little easier.

I’d love to see different ways to use washi tape in card making. I have 2 big jars full that I hardly use. These cards are lovely. Masculine cards would be good as I tend to make less of them but need more ideas. Thanks for sharing your creative projects ❤

I've got lots of washi tape, but many of the designs are very busy, which makes it more difficult to use them. I bought some really cool marble effect tape recently, though.

A tip when you have very busy washi tapes is to try to use a plain coloured one in between, you could even use thin weight cardstock strips if you don’t have plain washi tapes. If the new marble colours go well with your busy washi’s, they would work well too. 😁🌸🌺

This is great…i especially love the first card and have quite a few rolls of washi tape so I’m going to use it like you have in the first card (i love the torn, staggered look). My washi tape is very old, earthy colours and not like those beautiful turquoise ones u have, but I’m going to give it a go and c if i can make them look rustic

Hello Lucy. This morning I was working with washi tape from the company of the same name. Wanted to share this little tip in hopes that it will help others. I realized this morning that "leftover bits" that are cut away from the edges of card fronts can be placed right back on the "release sheet" they originally came from. I'm finding that I often do not use all scrappy or leftover bits when making a card front. Some are so small that I throw them in the trash. But others I want to save for possible use on a later card front. Problem solved!

The Lace Doilies can be found here - bit.ly/3uopsaB - I bought the HBD die on eBay here www.ebay.com.au/itm/185271629002 and I can't remember the die set name of the large Birthday die but I do have it somewhere in my videos when I've used it before. I'll make sure to find it again in the next video where I use this set (I had a viewer let me know and it seems you can only buy it at the brand's store). XOX
