A star-studded musical journey, THE COLOR PURPLE (MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY) album features beloved songs from director Blitz Bazawule’s bold new film, in addition to original material inspired by the rich tapestry of the film’s narratives. The Color Purple film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set to open only in theaters in North America on December 25, 2023 and internationally beginning 18 January 2024.

They are like angels, but if someone is horrible to them and they have a tough day , it affects one on the forefront as well. But there are others prone to suicide thoughts that could be a prob as well.

And to have people come up to me and admit that they still carry the residue of trauma which my songs uncovered. Well, those of us who write songs probably cry more when writing them than those who finally listen to the finished piece. To me Alicia is one of the most extraordinary songwriters of our day.
